The winners of the prize draw may collect their sheep after the 4.30pm crib service or it will be delivered. ADVENT SHEEP TRAIL One of the shepherds wants to go and see baby Jesus at Christmas, but he can’t find all his sheep! He knows that they all went off to the shops in Alverstoke and are still enjoying the Christmas shopping — will you help the shepherd find his missing sheep? Between the 5th and 22nd December you’re invited go on the Advent Sheep Trail as a family to find the lost knitted sheep. When you go please always ensure there is an adult with children and take care when crossing the roads. The knitted sheep are inside some shops so please be extra polite to shopkeepers and their customers when looking for a sheep in a shop. When you find a sheep in a shop or shop window you can write its name in space next to the name of the shop. ! Please help us find all the sheep in time for St.Mary’s Alverstoke Christmas Eve Crib Services at 3.00pm and 4.30pm so that they can come along as a flock and join in our celebrations. ! Messy Church Advent Sheep Trail The Shepherds Story On 25 December we celebrate Christmas, the birthday of Jesus who was called Christ... ! When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, some shepherds were out in the fields looking after their sheep when suddenly an angel appeared. The shepherds were very scared. The angel told the shepherds not to be scared because he had brought good news. He told them that Jesus had been born and that he would be the person who would save the world. He told the shepherds to go and see Jesus. Then there were lots more angels who sang glory to God and peace on earth. !
