Columbia Business Students Pitch to First Place Finishes at Darden and UNC
The Heilbrunn Center for Graham & Dodd Investing is delighted to announce that Columbia Student
Investment Management Association (CSIMA) pitch teams have won first place prizes at both the
Darden @ Virginia Investing Challenge and the 10th Annual Alpha Challenge at UNC.
Darden @ Virginia Investing Challenge
Brendan Dawson ’16, Aaron Purcell ’16 and Sisy Wang ’16 impressed the judges with their SolarCity
short presentation leading to a first place win in Virginia on November 13. This is the second
consecutive year the Columbia team has won at Darden.
The 10th Annual Alpha Challenge
Damian Creber ’16, Kevin Lin ’16 and Edward Reynolds ’16 took home the first place prize at the
University of North Carolina for their Cardtronics short and MRC Global long pitch presentations.
