D.-HOLGER MÜLLER (Dr. phil. earned at Helmut Schmidt University of the Federal Armed Forces; Hamburg), formerly commander Schule Feldjäger/Stabsdienst SONTHOFEN, Bundeswehr (Germany). Lt-Col. (Ret.) JÖRG KELLER (M.A. in Educational Sciences, University of Munich), was an Associate Professor of Military Sociology at the Staff and Command College of the German Armed Forces (Führungsakademie), Hamburg until the year 2012. From 2012 he is a Visiting Lecturer of Leadership and Military Sociology at the Estonian National Defence College. Capt. MARKO PUNGAR (M.A. in Military Leadership, Estonian National Defence College), is the Commander of the Infantry Company, Kuperjanovi Infantry Battalion, 2nd Infantry Brigade. KRISTJAN KASK (Ph.D. in Psychology, University of Leicester), Associate Professor of General Psychology, Tallinn University. KERSTI KÕIV (M.A. in Sociology, University of Tartu), Lecturer of Sociology at the Estonian National Defence College. Col. (Ret.) AARNE ERMUS (M.A. in National Resource Strategy, National Defence University, Washington, D.C.), was the Commandant of the Estonian National Defence College from 2007 to 2013. From 2013 he works as a Lecturer of Organizational Management at the Estonian Natoinal Defence College. HANS KRECH (Dr. phil. in History earned at Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg), Captain (Res.), is the executive director of CONTRIBUTORS 279 Wissenschaftliches Forum für Internationale Sicherheit e.V. (WIFIS) (Scientific Forum for International Security) at the German Federal Armed Forces Command and Staff College (Führungsakademie der Bundeswehr) in Hamburg. Maj. Gen. (Ret.) JONAS ANDRIŠKEVIČIUS (Leningrad Higher Military School, M. Frunze Military Academy, and NATO College in Rome), was the Chief of Defense of the Republic of Lithuania from 1993 to 1999. RENE TOOMSE (M.A. in Military Leadership and Security), Captain (Res.), CEO of the risk management company Aburgus Ltd. Brig. Gen. PEETER HOPPE (M.Sc. in Military Strategy, National Defense University, Washington D.C.) was the Chief of Staff of the Headquarters of the Estonian Defence Forces in 2011–2013, currently the Estonian Military Representative at SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe). Lt. Gen. NIKOLAI REEK (1890–1942), (Imperial Nicholas Military Academy, St. Peterburg; École Supérieure de Guerre, Paris), was the Commanding Officer of the 5th Regiment, the Chief of Staff of the 1st and 3rd divisions, and the Chief of Staff of the Viru Front in the Estonian War of Independence. After the war, from 1920–1923 he served as the Inspector of Military Training and the Editor-of-Chief of the magazine “Soldier”. From 1925 to1926 he served as the Chief of the General Staff, from 1926 to 1927 and from 1929 to 1934 he was the Commanding Officer of the 2nd Division. From 1934 to 1939 he was the Chief of the General Staff. From 1927 to 1928 he was the Minister of War and from 1939 to 1940 he was the Minister of Defence. In 1941 he was arrested by the Soviets and in 1942 he was executed in Solikamsk. JAAK PIHLAK (M.A. in History, University of Tartu), Director of the Viljandi Museum. Maj.
