24th Annual Trash Poster Contest 2015 ENTRY FORM Contest Begins: December 10, 2014 Students could win $250, $150 or $100 in cash *prize money! *Prize Awards are for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each grade division. $200 is awarded to one additional poster as “Promotional Poster of the Year”! Teachers of the 13 state winners will receive a voucher for a twonight stay at a State Park along with the “Promotional Poster of the Year” and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards of $100, $75 or $50 to purchase classroom art supplies! Deadline: Friday, January 30, 2015 Jeron Kilcullen, 10th Grade, Tillman County, Manitou, OK CONTEST DIVISIONS: All students attending school in Oklahoma, in the following divisions: K - 2nd Grade, 3rd - 5th Grade, 6th - 8th Grade, 9th - 12th Grade RULES: * * * * * * Please use 12 x 18 or 11 x 17-inch heavy paper or poster board ONLY. Must be student's original slogan and artwork. No signatures on posters! No syndicated, copyrighted, or clipart images! No computer aided or copy-machine poster entries. A completed entry form must be attached on the back in the "upper right corner" of each poster submitted. Reproducibility of poster will be a factor in judges' decisions, so use good lettering, high contrast, and bright colors. DEADLINE: Send poster entries to your local Department of Environmental Quality Office by: January 30, 2015. See this form for county locations. THEMES: Must be an original concept. The poster should be artistic, “POSITIVE” in approach, and focus on solutions to Oklahoma's litter problems.
