The visually arresting HENRI MICHAUX : MOUVEMENTS features ten dancers forming stunning silhouettes and sequences to mirror projections of drawings by Belgian surrealist Michaux. Chouinard then enters the heart of French master of modernism Érik Satie in GYMNOPÉDIES. While taking turns playing the piano, ten dancers perform loving, sensual, erotic duets to the composer’s haunting work. This performance contains strobe effects and some nudity.
