forming stunning silhouettes and sequences
to mirror projections of drawings by Belgian
surrealist Michaux. Chouinard then enters
the heart of French master of modernism
Érik Satie in GYMNOPÉDIES. While taking
turns playing the piano, ten dancers perform
loving, sensual, erotic duets to the
composer’s
haunting
work.

“Mysticssippi” blues man Harry Manx has
been called an “essential link” between the
music of East and West, creating musical
short stories that wed the tradition of the
blues with the depth of classical Indian

conventional guitars, harmonica, banjo and
the decidedly different Mohan veena, Manx
has created a unique sound that is hard to
