The Charger Chronicles - Immaculate Conception School
The Charger Chronicles Immaculate Conception School Parent Newsletter January 6, 2015 • Volume 4 Issue 5 From the Principal Dear ICS Families, Welcome Back to ICS for 2015! I hope and pray that you and your families had a peaceful, restful Christmas break, and I also hope and pray that the young ones are ready to move ahead and get back into the “routine” of school! With the new year, we continue our movement towards growth here at ICS, so with this letter comes your “Statement of Intent” for your child(ren) for the 2015-2016 school year. This is simply a survey to assist us in our planning for the year ahead. Re-registrations and registrations will come later, but with this said, I would like to offer you a small gift. It seems to me that the most powerful advertisers of our school are you, the parents, who already have your children here at ICS. When you are committed to your children’s education, and when your children are growing and developing well due to the partnership between home and school, this is a wonderful thing and something that you should be happy to share with others, and I know you do. So, (here is the gift), anyone who recommends a new student to ICS, and that student applies, is accepted, registers and attends our school in 2015-2016, will receive a $200 tuition deduction from their April, 2016 tuition. It is a small gift, but I hope you will see it as a recognition of you parents, who are able to help our school in this way. (By the way, only one (1) recommendation per new family will apply for this deduction). The question may come up: WHY? Very simply, we are about to expand our campus significantly… we will have space for many more students, and we believe that Immaculate Conception School is here to share the love of Jesus and Mary in the Salesian spirit, to educate children in academics, and to form good, upright young people (mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially). We have the space, so why not use it to assist many, many more children and families? That is the WHY in a nutshell. In this Chronicles, are also the dates of our Open Houses… please share them with your family and friends. We need your help to spread the “good news” of ICS to others in our area. I know I can count on your help. God bless you all! And, again, HAPPY, PEACEFILLED NEW YEAR! Letters of Intent The Letters of Intent for currently enrolled students went home Tuesday, January 6, 2015. The Letters of Intent are to notify the administration that your child will attend ICS for the 2015-2016 school year. It is important that these letters are returned to the office by Friday, January 9, 2015 so that we can start to reserve spaces for returning students. 2015-2016 Registration Packets Registration packets for the 2015-2016 school year will be sent home on Tues., January 20 and are due back on Mon., January 26.
