PRESTO Horizontal Balers from
the CC Series are used for compacting recyclables such as
paper, cardboard or plastics.
The CC series features an overall
small body that requires only
minimum floor space. These
balers are used for pressing
material into stable, high-density
bales that are -easy and safe
to stack. These bales require
substan-tially less space than
the non-compacted recyclables. The baler can be loaded
continu-ously or intermittently,
automatically or manually. The
material is compacted by a
horizontally driven, hydraulic
compaction ram. When the
selected bale length is reached,
bales the -are tied automatically
(Model V) or manually (Model M).
PRESTO Horizontal Balers
operate reliably, are easy to
use and easy to integrate into
existing waste collection and
disposal processes.
Disposal of waste and recyclables can be an important
company activity and a significant cost centre. Targeted

Features and benefits
PRESTO Horizontal Balers provide economical disposal of
recyclables. Material is compacted into stable, square bales
of uniform density and same dimensions. These bales are
easier to store and transport than non-compacted material.
Utilisation of storage space and transport capacity can be maximised, and costs of storage and transport can therefore be
reduced.
Development and design of all PRESTO products are guided by
our customers’ requirements, and, as a result, the features of a
PRESTO Horizontal Baler give real benefits to our customers:
Centrally, hydraulically powered by an energy- efficient gear
pump that operates quietly.
Intelligent controls of the hydraulics reduce the ram speed
to increase compaction pressure when the counter pressure
increases.
Hard-wearing polyamide guides ensure quiet ram movements,
guides are adjustable for wear.
Version V
Automatic bale tying system with twister mechanism - fast
and reliable knot tying with minimum wire usage reduces
wire costs.
Articulated needles and single-cylinder drives make wire
transfer simple and compact.
Hard-wearing shear blade with extended travel past shear bar
slices material reliably.
Version M
Manual bale tying with polyester bands is quick and easy.
Compaction without pre-compaction minimises variations
in bale length.
