FREE STATE SENIOR, JUNIOR;YOUTH AND SUB YOUTH TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS:
06-07 MARCH 2015
We gladly give the following information to you about the above-mentioned meeting:
1.
The meeting will take place on FRIDAY 06 MARCH 2015 AND SATURDAY 07 MARCH 2014 at the
MANGAUNG ATHLETICS STATE STADIUM, see attached program.

ENTRY FEE is R30-00 per athlete, per day. This is not payable beforehand, but AT THE
GATES ON THE DAY OF THE MEETING.
Athletes must wear 2015 licence numbers or buy a temporary licence for R 30.00 on the day
of the meeting. The temporary licence will be valid for both days.
Athletes MUST participate in the Free State Championship to be considered for a FS Team
to the ASA SA Senior Championship on 17 -18 April 2015 in Stellenbosch and/or the U/23;
Junior; Youth and Sub-Youth SA Championships on 9-11 April 2015 in BLOEMFONTEIN.

Licence numbers of athletes must be entered if already affiliated for 2015.

Steeplechase:

Athletes who want to be considered for the different Free State teams to the different National
Championships must participate in the Free State Championship with the specific Technical
Standards and equal or better the AFS set criteria.

Every club is responsible for own travel, accommodation and meal arrangements.

Athletes can make use of their own implements and is not oblige to let other athletes use their
implements. Implements of athletes’ who equal or better Provincial and/or National records must be
assized. Anti-doping tests must also be carried out for the ratification of National records.

The first three athletes in each final event will receive medals

Athletes must participate in official club attire.

Combined events:
Athletes who wants to be considered for the Free State Team in Combined
Events can compete in the different events; although not in the same order as described in the IAAF
Rules, statistics can be obtained for selection purposes.

Persons who can assist us with officiating in the competition must please send their names to the
AFS office together with the entry forms.

The championship will take place according the IAAF and ASA Rules.
