A Variety Night in Aid of Bay Cat Rescue
“Bay Cat Rescue” is the local charity dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of feral
cats and kittens. After experiencing first
hand how other animal charities overlook
and neglect the needs of these cats, a group
of volunteers came together to help change
this. Every cat is treated with a respect it
needs. All the feral kittens we rescue, many of which would have been
euthanized by other organisations, are socialised and cared for by dedicated
foster families where they learn how to be loved, before being put up for
adoption. Feral adults are neutered, get any veterinary treatment they need
and are released to safe environments where they can be fed, monitored and
live their lives out in peace.•The charity is run solely by volunteers and we rely
on donations and fundraising to buy food, formula milk, litter and toys, as well
as to pay ever increasing veterinary bills. The charity simply couldn't function
without the support and donations from the public

About Theatre presents: Little Shop of Horrors
A down-and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight
sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious
craving for fresh blood. Soon Audrey II grows into an illtempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore who offers
him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing
appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised
for global domination. One of the longest-running “OffBroadway” shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of 1950s
sci-fi movies has become a house-hold name, thanks to a highly
successful film version and a score by the song writing team of
Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, who were responsible
Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast and
Aladdin. Charming, tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly
planted in cheek, Little Shop Of Horrors never fails to entertain.
Brought to you by About Theatre, the local company
responsible for Jekyll and Hyde in 2011, Godspell in 2009 and Putting It Together in 2007.

formidable reputation for highly entertaining
concerts of wide public appeal, the Brighouse
and Rastrick Band has many other notable
triumphs to its credit in the highly competitive
contesting field - the major means bands use
to match themselves against each other.
Whilst obviously not winning every competition they enter, they are often
amongst the prizes and their record of major championship victories since they

Today, the band continues to make its mark on the new century with all the
promise that holds, whilst maintaining their great traditions and continued quest
for musical excellence. With over 130 years of proud history behind them, the
band is still fiercely financially independent and beholden to no one other than

was asked to join 'Culture Club' at the height of their
stardom. An offer of a solo record deal closely followed and she soon signed to Jive Records. Four albums and a "Best of" compilation album were all released to critical acclaim.
To date, Ruby has released 17 albums plus the BBC's 'Live From Glastonbury',

The Sound of the Glen Miller Era
The lights soften, the
mood settles. An audience
waits for that first moment
of sound. The Big Band is
poised, relaxed, but with
eyes anxious for the lead.
Then, as if giving body to
an echo, the murmured
notes of ‘Moonlight
Serenade’…and the night, it seems, is suddenly full and timeless.
There are those who watch and listen who tap a shy finger to the
melodies, others who follow with a silent foot-beat, still others who
murmur softly through the lyrics, and those who simply permit a
fleeting smile. But common to all are memories.
Recapture the sounds of a bygone era as the Nick Ross Orchestra
presents ‘an unmissable evening of music and song’ – the Classic Big
Band Sound of the 1940s.

69 Shades of Black starring Faye Tozer
Sassy and saucy with a whip-crackingly riotous
script, 69 SHADES OF BLACK is the perfect feel-good
girl’s night out.
Boring and vanilla; William Shight’s most interesting
trait has always been his snigger inducing name. Up
until now that is!
Since landing his dream job at one of the country’s
top advertising agencies, things have taken a turn
for the shocking.• ‘Christina Black’, the company
director, has taken a shine to ‘William’ and
attempts to seduce him with an indecent proposal.
Overwhelmed by the attention and without friends
or family to turn to, he decides seek the advice of
the only two men in his life he can trust, the
hilariously argumentative Gabriel and Gideon...his conscience. William
tries in vain to resist but in the end relents and signs a 69 page contract,
the one Christina intends to use to make a man out of him....• The 20
pages of “don’t” and 49 pages of “do whatever the hell I want” will lead
William on the hilariously painful journey of a lifetime.
