The partnership corporation DR. SCHIPPKE + PARTNER was founded in 1984 as an
engineering consultancy by the civil engineers H.-G. Schippke and H. J. Hülsmann and is
based in Hanover (registration number 61, lower regional court Hanover).
The company is now headed by Honorarprofessor Dr.-Ing. Hans-Günther Schippke
(majority interests) accompanied by Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Annemarie Schippke (since Jan. 1, 2014)
and Dipl.-Ing. Hans-Henning Schippke, M.Sc. (since Nov. 1, 2014).
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hermann J. Hülsmann is still associated to the company as a consultant
engineer.
Our key expertise lies in the intersection of civil, mechanical and electrical engineering.
Besides consultancy we do construction and design planning as well as technical
supervision mainly in the fields of
 moveable steel constructions (bridges, cranes) and their associated
 technical equipment (measurement, control) as well as
 hydraulic engineering (gates, weirs) and
 structural engineering (bridges, buildings).
Our team consists of civil, mechanical and electrical engineers with personal expertise in
 welding technologies and corrosion protection as well as

theatre and stage construction.
We have developed regulations for moveable bridges (ZTV-ING, part 9, passage 2) in
cooperation with the German Federal Ministry of Transport. Furthermore due to our
research activities we have experience regarding development, application and assessment
of fibre-reinforced composite materials.
