is our “Churches
Together Lent Course” for 2015. It assumes
Christians wish to move on in their faith and each
week it will include simple investigations as to where
we are now and then encourage us to move on,
using a 15 minute DVD and discussion in small
th
groups. It is planned from 17 February to the last
st
session on 31 March from 7:30 pm to 9:00pm each
Tuesday in St. Andrew’s Annexe, starting each week
with light refreshments with a special treat for Shrove
Tuesday. House groups will not meet for the duration
of the course so that their members can also attend.
More details on next page.
ANNEXE BOOKINGS: Katrina Musgrove has kindly
agreed to take over the Annexe bookings. Her contact

WANTED: Slough Homeless Our Concern (SHOC) are
always looking for clothes in good condition for adult men
and women who find themselves homeless in the Slough
area. As the colder weather is now with us, they urgently
need warm clothing, including coats, hats, gloves and
scarves, as well as sleeping bags. Items may be brought
to Wraysbury Baptist Church and we will pass them on to
SHOC.
SLOUGH FOODBANK: Donations of imperishable food
items for Slough Foodbank, which aims to support local
people with emergency food packages, can be placed in
the boxes in all three churches throughout the year. At
the moment they would particularly welcome long-life fruit
juice, instant mashed potato, sponge puddings, long-life
milk, soap and shampoo.
