Class of 2018 Freshman
Movie Night! Join us on January 23 for our Movie Night. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to
watch The Avengers starting at 7:30. There will be a lot of concessions for sale during the movie!
FIFA Tournament!
Class Office is also hosting a FIFA tournament before the movie starts! If you are interested, meet in the
commons at 5:00 for a chance to win a $50 gift card to Chipotle! Admissions for the FIFA tournament are $5.
CLASS OF 2017 SOPHOMORES
MATCH MAKER- COMING SOON!
We are very happy to announce that the Class of 2017 will host Match Maker this year! Match Maker is an
activity hosted each year around Valentines Day for students to find out their best & worst match in the
school. Each student fills out a 5 minute survey, then they can buy their results for $2 during lunch from
February 9th-13th. Class officers will be distributing Match Maker ballots in envelopes to each 4th period
class this Wednesday the 28th during Communications period!
We are selling spirit gear via order form! Prices and descriptions are shown below.
BELLEVUE CHAMELEON CUPS- Each is sold for $5!
UMBRELLAS- These lovely blue and gold Bellevue umbrellas are sold for $35!
BOOT SOCKS- Each pair will be sold for $20
To make an order via form - Bring the completed order form with the proper payment (cash or check to
Class of 2017) to the accounting office at Bellevue High School, then take your receipt to room 2105 for
afterschool pick-up! Pick up can be done at your leisure. Questions? email [email protected]

Community Service Hours Available for Tutoring in the Library!
Are you interested in earning community service hours and enjoy working with others to help them succeed
in school? Are you considering completing an application to be an academic coach for next year and want to
try out tutoring? If so, please consider tutoring on Tuesdays and /or Thursdays in the library during
extended tutorial. Tutors are needed in all subjects! Please see Mrs. Kenney in the library workroom for
additional information.

As college application deadlines loom, don’t forget to take advantage of the College Corps volunteers (yes,
we now have more than one volunteer each day) available in the library every Tuesday and Thursday
afternoon from 2:30 to 4 pm to help you with your applications, your essays, and any other information you

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: 6th GRADE CAMP COUNSELOR FOR TYEE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Tyee MS is looking for Juniors & Seniors to volunteer at our 6th Grade Outdoor Education Camp!
This year’s camp week is scheduled for April 20-24, 2015 at YMCA’s Camp Orkila on Orcas Island, WA.
All applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the camp counselor position:
Students can only have one D on the second semester Teacher Grade Report.
Students may not have F’s on their 1st semester grade report or on their 2nd semester Teacher Grade Report
Students must have excellent attendance, such as no patterns of tardies or unexcused absences.
Students must have excellent discipline records from September 2014-April 2015.





Applications available in the Activities Office on FEBRUARY 2, 2015. Due no later than MARCH 12.
Applications screened by administration; applicants will be notified if they do not meet requirements.
Applicants who meet set requirements may be selected for a group interview on March 25.
Applicants who participate in the group interview will be notified on March 26 of selection decision.
Selected counselors must participate in 2 training sessions: April 1st, 2:30-5 & April 20, 8:00-3:15
