ENTRIES CLOSE 5PM SUNDAY 25 JANUARY, 2015 VRHA Club Show. RA Approved. NRHA guidelines & RA ineligibility apply into class divisions: 3100,3200,1200,1500,5300,5310,1350,1100,1400,1700,1750,1800,1850,1301,1600,1650,3500 All riders must be a member of at least one of the following Associations; VRHA, Reining Australia, NRHA. VRHA membership is required for entry into any other class/es not stated above VRHA. VRHA Double hi points show. To be eligible for VRHA Hi Points rider & owner/s must be a full financial member of the VRHA at time of showing VRHA 2015 membership is required for entry into VRHA classes. A temporary VRHA day membership is available. VRHA Entry Level Class eligibility applies to class divisions: 9008, 9009, and 9011. Points tally and eligibilities available at www.vrha.com.au Youth age as of 1st January, 2015 Horses that are entered in more than one class in concurrent run classes will only have one run and the score will count for all classes entered. Only ONE (1) judge fee applies when entering concurrent classes. Entries will only be accepted with full payment. Bank deposit payment confirmation must accompany entry to enable conformation of entry. VRHA reserves the right to amend or alter the show program. VRHA retains 50% in Jackpot classes. Classes with Prize vouchers also collect jackpot prize with the exception of Youth classes Exhibitors that enter and scratch a class for any reason will be liable for any and all fees incurred in connection to entering that class. Exhibitors that scratch an entry for any reason BEFORE the draw has been posted will only be granted an ‘entry fee’ refund upon official Veterinary Certificate being supplied; Show Office fee will be retained where an approved entry refund is granted. Entry refunds will NOT be granted once the draws have been posted. Riders must be neatly attired with correct riding boots (no sneakers), n e a t western pants, western shirt that covers the body, western hat, Youth short stirrup must wear a hard safety riding hat, Youth 13 -­‐18 years VRHA recommend the wearing of a hard safety riding hat. smoking or the use of mobile phones is prohibited whilst riding in the warm up arena, marshaling area, during open pen or in the show arena. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Any complaint or dispute must be addressed to the VRHA Committee. All competitors and their contacts enter the venue grounds at their own risk. The Committee of the Victorian Reining Horse Association Inc. and Management of Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre will not be held responsible for any accident, sickness to any horse, owner, rider, handler or competitor, spectator or property. Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre Risk Management Conditions must be adhered to at all times. Victorian Reining Horse Association has been given compensation from Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre to wear soft hats (cowboy hats) when riding in the indoor arenas only. In all other areas of the venue an approved current Australian Standard hard helmet must be worn, otherwise the horse will be led. Victorian Reining Horse Association recommends the use of an approved Australian Standard hard helmet for all competitors. Any accident or injury is to be reported to the Victorian Reining Horse Association Show Office or Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre Management. Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre Committee of Management considers it a privilege that you are allowed to bring your dog to this venue. Dog’s must be on a leash and kept under effective control at all times. 2. *Approved Safety Helmets must be worn at all times when riding. 3. Cross Country obstacles must not be jumped/used unless a non-­‐riding level one coach is present. 4. Riding of horses bareback is prohibited. 5. Riding of rugged and/or unbridled horses is prohibited. 6. Any person may lead a maximum of two horses while mounted. 7. Stallions must at all times be in the control of a person aged seventeen years or more, when led or ridden. 8. Horses are not permitted within/upon the quadrangle (between the barn & Indoor 1). 9. Horses are not permitted near pedestrian doorways. 10. Bicycles are not permitted in the Indoor Arenas or any stable block. Approved helmets must be worn at all times. 11. Bicycles are not permitted near doors designated as public entrances or exits. 12. Motor Cyclist riders must wear approved safety helmets and hold the appropriate licence. 13. Speed limits must be adhered to at all times, the speed limit at WPNEC is 10km p/h. 14. Power leads must not be on the ground or over roadways. 15. Construction of portable/tape yards is prohibited. 16. Alcohol must not be consumed in the Indoor Arenas, unless purchased from the licenced bar located in Indoor Arena No 1. 17. Please observe all signs at the venue. 18. Horses must be tied in a safe manner. Horses must not be tied to unattached floats, wheelie bins etc. 19. No infrastructure to be erected on WPNEC Grounds without written approval by management prior to event. 20. Entry and Exit doors to Indoor Arenas are not to be obstructed at any time. 21. Every event to book at WPNEC must provide their own first aid officials. These conditions apply unless the Manager or the Committee of Management has given the discipline/event/activity concerned an exemption. * The Victorian Reining Horse Association have been given permission to wear soft cowboy hats when riding in the Indoor Arenas as guided by RA Insurance Policies, an approved safety helmet MUST be worn at all times when riding in riding areas outside of the Indoor Arenas. Horses must be lead outside of riding areas
