new windows look great. With the decorating and other interior
works we need to raise £25,000 altogether, which would be £20K if it is all Gift Aided!

This new year is our 80th anniversary of the foundation of the parish beginning with the
anniversary of the first mass back in Christmas 1934.

Dog walk is next event, and we now also look forward to an organ recital after Easter, and
before that a coffee evening fundraiser at the Hewetsons, March 23rd

Baptism Preparation Please try to book baptisms at least two months in advance,
by talking to one of the clergy and filling in a form. Preparation sessions coming
soon 10th & 17th February, 7.00pm in St Filumena’s presbytery.
Red Boxes, APF Mission Appeals
Later in the year we will have the priest giving the Red Box mission appeal,
but many thanks to those who collect regularly. We have sent off £1539.00
from Meir and Cresswell together, of which £470.40 was from St Mary’s.

our mission by St Augustine sent by St Gregory to England

Mass Intentions One diary for mass intentions is kept in the office at St Augustine’s , so please hand
in offerings in envelopes with offering and clear information about which church, names and
intentions, your name and contact number, and preferred dates, so that they can get to the diary
Mass stipend usually £10 For Sundays we are usually booking about 6 weeks in advance!
Youth Group for our Parishes,at St Augustine’s, check with leaders, Mondays at 6.30pm
Cleaners for St Augustine’s. More help still needed-usually Friday mornings at about 9am.
