PRESENTATION EVENTS
PAPER PRESENTATION:
“An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists
only as an idea.” Got an idea that will revolutionize and redefine boundaries? Q Quest
provides you the right platform to present your ideas to the world! Let your ideas reach the
right people!
TOPIC:
“QUALITY THROUGH INNOVATION”.
Team size: 2.

QUALITY CONTROL PRESENTATION:
A quality control circle is a small group of employees from the same work
area who voluntarily meet at regular intervals to identify, analyse and resolve work related
problems. This not only improves the performance of the organization, it also enriches the work
life of employees. The event is a presentation of the implementation of smart solutions for
Quality improvements by employees from various companies.
Team Size: 3 to 5.

QUALITY CONCEPT PRESENTATION:
The main objective of any quality related problem is to reduce defects to
achieve zero defects by using the simplest and low-cost techniques possible. By using
Quality control tools, the defects of the products can be solved.
Team size: 5 to 7
Participants may present papers related to various quality tools like Poke Yoke, Kaizen etc…

General Rules for all the presentation events:
 Presentation time is 10 minutes for each team then 5 minutes for questions and
discussions.
 All members of the team are expected to participate in the presentation
 There will be elimination, Top 3 teams will be selected and honoured.
 No laptops are allowed for presentations, the final presentation (as POWERPOINT
slides) should be given to the organizers at the venue.
* Last minute changes such as team members, abstract, etc., will not be
entertained.
 Jury’s decision is final.
 Regional language may be used while delivering the content, if desired.

POSTER PRESENTATION:
A poster is simply a static, visual medium (usually of the paper and board
variety) that lets you to communicate ideas and messages. Do you have an idea to proclaim?
Have you found a new approach or solution better than the existing ones? Let your poster do
the talking!!! Then Q Quest gives you the perfect platform to present your ideas to the world
through the poster presentation contest.
TOPIC:
“CREATIVITY, INNOVATION AND QUALITY”.
RULES:




This is an Individual Event as it is purely based on creativity and originality.
The poster displayed should be focused on the theme.
The poster should be in a standard format of 2X3 feet.
Every poster will be put up for display for the judges to observe and raise their queries.

can’t get better!

GENERAL RULES:
 2 persons per team
 Rounds will be announced on the spot
 Each round has elimination based on the scores

QUALITY GURUS:
A challenging event completely filled with brain blasting problem
statements and questions that tests the real authentic skills of the managers and high end
professionals of the companies. It takes a bright soul and mind to win this event. No wonder
the winner would be hugely appreciated
RULES:
2 members per team
Open to all
Rounds will be announced on spot.

DEBATE:
“Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers, who can cut through
argument, debate and doubt, to offer a solution everybody can understand”. This event
provides a platform to explore your debating skills.
RULES:
First round is prelims round. Topic will be given on the spot. Elimination will be there
based on the performance.
Second round is the debate, for this also on the spot topic will be given.
Debate can be either in English or in Tamil.
Based on the number of participant’s time will be allotted for the speaker.
