Under the patronage of Sheikha Ayesha Al-Sabah, Wanasa camp was organized Saturday by Latifa Al-Dhaher at Jlaiah area. Many people attended, and participated in games and contests. Gifts were distributed.

Rage FC crowned champions

age FC has been crowned champions in the
Students India - Grand Hyper under 17 football tournament, held at the Public Authority for Youth and
Sports Stadium at Mishrif. In a thrilling Final, they beat
SEPT Kuwait FC 2-1 in penalties, after both teams were
locked at 1-1 after regular time and extra time. Earlier in
the Semi-Finals, Rage FC overcame BFC in penalties while
SEPT Kuwait defeated Arkanes FC by 2 goals.
A total of 14 teams participated in the tournament,
which was held in association with Youth India. The winners Rage FC were presented the trophy and cash award
by the regional director of Grand Hyper, Ayoob Kechery.
Youth India president Rafeeq Babu presented the runnersup with their awards. Ibrahim of Rising Star Club was the
top scorer in the tournament while Karthik of BFC was
selected as the best Goal keeper. Akheel Abdu Rahman of
SEPT Kuwait was awarded man of the match in the final.
KEFAK president Abdulla Qadiri, Faisal Winners, Abdul
Razaq Nadvi and Najeeb VS presented the individual honors. The matches were controlled by Shaji, Mansoor,
Muneer, Rabeesh, Ibrahim and Navas.

music fest on February 13 at Salmiya Indian
Community School (Senior). Renowned musician Shenkottai Harihara Subramahnya Iyer will
present a classical musical concert accompanied by
visiting mridangam artiste Changanassery TS
Satheeshkumar and local artists. The program starts
at 9am.

o uphold unique cultural heritage and after the success
of previous 3 (Three) Malabar Mahotsavam, in conjunction with the auspicious occasion of Liberation and
National day of Kuwait The long term and historical binding
with malabar region and arabian peninsula is encrypted in
history, KDNA is planning to conduct latest edition of Full day
Mega program “Malabar Mahotsavam 2015” with variety of
cultural programs including Symposium, Exhibition, Henna
Contest, Cooking Competition and invited very famous Cine
Artists as well as renowned singers from India, which will
bring out the nostalgic feeling of festivals of Malabar on 27th
February 2015 at Indian Central School Open Auditorium,
Abbasiya, Kuwait.
The Purpose of conducting Mega Malabar Mahotsavam is
to strengthen the relief and promote the charity activities of
the association for the poor and needy who are striving very
hard for their livelihood. We expect an audience on rotation
about 7,000 comprising of eminent personalities from Kuwait
and India
Variety of Malabar cuisines, exhibition of historical portrait
of Kozhikod and Malabar, stall of different items, will be attractions of the event.
Well Known Artists Vinod Kovoor, Surabhi (Media One TV
M80 Moosa Serial fame), Singers Afsal, Akhila Anand Preethi
Warier, and Renowned Malayalam Film Director IV Sasi are
among the participants of the program.
Those who are willing to participate in Henna, cooking,

organizing a free medical camp in association with
Indian Doctor’s Forum, Indian Dentists’ Alliance, Kuwait
Heart Foundation and Kuwait Medical Association on
Friday 6th Feb, 2015 from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm at
Integrated Indian School, Abbasiya. Specialist doctors
from the departments of General Medicine, Neurology,
Cardiology, Pediatric, Gynecology, Dental, Skin, Ortho,
ENT, Ophthalmology (Eye) and Gastroenterology will be
there. The program is for the benefit of labor camp
inmates, housemaids and those who have no other
