All this for just $54 per person which includes a lavish dairy buffet, a splitting of the pot and raffle prizes. All proceeds go to benefit the YINW. Continue the Unity On Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm, February 8th, the mothers of ‘our three boys,’ Rachel Fraenkel, Bat Galim Shaer and Iris Yifrach will be at The Ramaz Upper School (current site of Kehilat Jeshurun under Rabbi Haskel Lookstein) at a large community-wide solidarity event to Continue the Unity and love of Israel that the mothers and their three sons, Naftali, z’l, Gilad, z’l and Eyal, z’l inspired across the globe. Hosted by KJ, the event is sponsored by major synagogues across the city, with a prestigious Host Committee. Rachel Fraenkel, Bat Galim Shaer and Iris Yifrach, touched the world with their grace, strength and faith. During the three weeks that their sons, z’l, were missing, the Jewish world was united in hope. The event promises to be the opportunity to re-ignite that feeling of unity and hope in our community in the presence of these incredible women. 4 Shvat 5775 Upcoming Schedule Friday 1/23 – 3 Shvat Shacharit I Shacharit II Candlelighting Mincha Shabbat 1/24 – 4 Shvat Shacharit Latest Shema Rabbi’s Shiur Mincha Ma’ariv Shabbat Ends Sunday 1/25 – 5 Shvat Shacharit Mincha/Ma’ariv Monday 1/26 – 6 Shvat Shacharit I Shacharit II Ramban on Parshat HaShuva Maariv@KBH Maariv@BKNW Tuesday 1/27 – 7 Shvat Shacharit I Shacharit II Maariv@KBH Maariv@BKNW Wednesday 1/28 – 8 Shvat Shacharit I Shacharit II Maariv@KBH Maariv@BKNW Thursday 1/29 – 9 Shvat Shacharit I Shacharit II Maariv@KBH Maariv@BKNW Friday 1/30 – 10 Shvat Shacharit I Shacharit II Candlelighting Mincha 6:30 am 7:45 am 4:43 pm 4:55 pm 9:00 am 9:39 am 4:00 pm 4:35 pm 5:40 pm 5:47 pm 8:00 am 4:45 pm 6:20 am 7:45 am 8:30 pm 9:00 pm 10:15 pm 6:30 am 7:45 am 9:00 pm 10:15 pm 6:30 am 7:45 am 9:00 pm 10:15 pm 6:20 am 7:45 am 9:00 pm 10:15 pm 6:30 am 7:45 am 4:51 pm 5:00 pm They Make Us Proud »» Want to brag about your kids and see their accomplishments in the Youth Corner? This Eilat-area tiyul is easy to find – follow the road that leads to the Egyptian border at Taba, park slightly east of the Eilat Field School and start climbing. Mount Zefachot is not an easy ascent, nor is it a particularly beautiful climb. There are some tricky ups and a few cliffs to keep it interesting. But this hike is all about the payoff, and it’s spectacular. From the top of the mountain, you get a panoramic view of the entire Red Sea area. You can see four countries from this vantage point: Israel, of course, but also Jordan, Egypt, and the tip of Saudi Arabia. The sea remains a shimmering blue year round, and Eilat’s mild winters make this a perfect hike to break the cold of Israel’s more northern locales. Once you’ve drunk in the view, there are several options for the descent depending on how much you want to walk. If you take the longest option (about four hours), you’ll end up near Taba; you can then take a public Egged bus or taxi back to your car. Tuvia Book is a licenced Israeli Ministry of Tourism Guide.
