At Smolin, we take a team approach to each client’s situaAon. Our large team of CPAs in New Jersey and Florida boasts an array of specialAes, so each client works directly with a CPA whose experAse best matches their needs. Here at Smolin, our team is comprised of diverse individuals. With people from all over the globe, we are able to accommodate non-­‐English speaking clients. Some languages spoken by our staff includes Spanish, Polish, German French, and Russian. Our women make up almost half of our professional staff. Many of the women hold posiAons as Members, Directors, and Managers. We empower our employees, so they grow as leaders and advance as professionals by implemenAng a mentorship program for all new staff accountants. OUR HISTORY
Smolin was founded in 1947 in Newark, New Jersey. While we began by servicing a core clientele of private, closely-­‐held businesses and professional firms, over the years we’ve conAnued to grow and evolve into a regional, full-­‐service advisory firm helping clients of all sizes and in various industries. OUR TEAM
Our offices are now in Fairfield and Red Bank, New Jersey, which allows us to serve not only all of northern New Jersey, but the New York markets as well. We are also located in Juno Beach and Boca Raton, Florida. You may be wondering why we chose Florida since it is far away from New Jersey. We have offices in Florida to service a rapidly growing market. Many of our clients reside in Florida so they do not have to pay state income tax. Another reason is we love the warm weather. In our four offices, we currently have 110 employees, 65 of which are CPAs. The rest of our team is comprised of staff accountants studying for the CPA exam, administraAve assistants, and in-­‐house IT support staff. Our CPAs have specialAes in ERISA, Yellow Book and school audits, just to name a few. ABOUT THE FIRM
