It involves capacity building, networking, B2B, information sharing and Capacity building. Economic Empowerment for the Business Community in Eastern Uganda. This event will focus on Agribusiness in the Eastern Region jnavvuma@psfugan Each year PSFU documents and submits the policy concerns of the private sector to the government through the Platform for Action. The post Budget Luncheon is organized to review proposals submitted to Government as per the private sector priorities and to advise Government accordingly. The International Trade Facilitation Expo is an annual event aimed to make it easy for the private sector to participate in the import and export of goods and services to interact and share their products with various existing and potential exporters and importers. This event also brings together the various trade and commercial attaches representing over 20 countries who also provide more information about the business and trade opportunities within their countries This activity recognizes innovative and economic empowering community based initiatives. It also recognizes corporate companies that have taken time and money off to develop their communities in terms of CSR. The event involves a series of field visits, Radio campaigns and upcountry mobilization activities across over 40 Districts of Uganda. The Private Sector Development Awards recognizes the role that networks such as business associations, community groups and cooperatives play in nurturing small and business enterprises in Uganda. The final climax of this event is the Award Dinner This is a multi-sector event which caters for all the sectors of the economy. This expo is an opportunity for enterprises to showcase their products, services, and innovations, new and improved technologies in all sectors of the economy.
