WARNINGS:
• Handle with care.
• Can cause eye and skin irritation.
• Store away from food, feed, seed, fertilizers and other agricultural chemicals.
• Very toxic to aquatic organisms, and may cause long term adverse effects
in the aquatic environment.
• Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions,
the registration holder does not warrant that it will be efficacious under all conditions
because the action and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal
soil, climatic and storage conditions; quality of dilution water, compatibility with other
substances not indicated on the label and the occurrence of resistance of weeds
against the remedy concerned, as well as by the method, time and accuracy of
application. The registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for
damage to crops, vegetation, the environment, or harm to man or animal or for lack of
performance of the remedy concerned due to failure of the user to follow the label
instructions or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in
terms of the registration. Consult the supplier in the event of any uncertainty.
PRECAUTIONS:
• Do not inhale spray mist and fumes.
• Wash with soap and water after use and accidental skin contact.
• Do not eat, drink or smoke while mixing or applying.
• Avoid drift or spray onto other crops, grazing, rivers, dams and areas not
under treatment.
• Clean applicator after use and dispose of wash water where it will not
contaminate crops, grazing, rivers and dams.
• Do not apply where the roots of susceptible plants can absorb AG-DIURON
800 SC.
• Invert the empty container over the spray or mixing tank and allow to drain
for at least 30 seconds after the flow has slowed down to a drip. Thereafter
rinse the container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum
of 10 % of that of the container. Add the rinsings to the contents of the
spray tank before destroying the container.
• Destroy the empty container by perforation and flattening and never use
for any other purpose.
• Prevent contamination of food, feed, drinking water and eating utensils.
• Change and wash your work clothes. Wash yourself.
RESISTANCE WARNING:
For resistance management, AG-DIURON 800 SC is a group code C2
herbicide. Any weed population may contain individuals naturally resistant
to AG-DIURON 800 SC and other group code C2 herbicides. The resistant
individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides
are used repeatedly. These resistant weeds may not be controlled by AGDIURON 800 SC or any other group code C2 herbicide.
To prevent herbicide resistance:
• Avoid excessive repeated use of herbicides from the same herbicide
group code. Alternate or tank mix with registered products from different
herbicide group codes.
• Integrate other control methods (chemical, cultural, biological) into weed
programmes.
For specific information on resistance management contact the registration
holder of this product.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as indicated.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Preferably apply AG-DIURON 800 SC on cleanly cultivated, clod free and moist
soil. Apply AG-DIURON 800 SC as a pre-emergence application. AG-DIURON
800 SC is absorbed mainly by the roots of germinating weeds. For optimal
results, rain or irrigation is required within one week after application.
When AG-DIURON 800 SC is applied in combination with other registered
herbicides, it may also be used as a post-emergence treatment of weeds.
However, the weeds should be actively growing and in the correct growth
stage for optimum results.
APPLICATION AND MIXING:
• Apply in 200 - 400 l water/ha, using a flat fan type or flood nozzle.
• Accurately calibrate the spray equipment prior to application.
• Half-fill the spray tank with the required volume of water. Mix the
recommended amount of AG-DIURON 800 SC in a small quantity of clean
water to make a smooth cream. Pour into the tank through a sieve. Top up
with water.
• Continuous agitation of the mixture is recommended, to keep the
chemicals in suspension in the spray tank.
• Do not allow the mixture to stand overnight.
COMPATIBILITY:
AG-DIURON 800 SC can be mixed with 2,4 D, MCPA, MSMA, PARAQUAT,
HEXAZINONE, and METRIBUZIN. It is very important NOT to mix AG-DIURON 800
SC with these liquid formulations in a concentrated form. To avoid any
problems, half-fill the spray tank with water and add AG-DIURON 800 SC as
described under APPLICATION above. Top up with water and then add the
other liquid formulations in already diluted form.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE RATES:
DOSAGE RATE
PER HECTARE
CROP
REMARKS
Avocados, Bananas and Mangoes
(only established orchards)
4,0 ℓ
Apply during the growing season to cleanly cultivated, moist soil. Repeat 2 – 3 months later if necessary.
Citrus: Where grass weeds are a problem, apply in combination with Bromacil 800 WP. See Bromacil 800
WP label for recommended dosage rates.
Pineapples
(post-plant or on established plants)
4,0 ℓ
Apply onto cleanly cultivated, moist soil. It is preferable to apply 2 split applications of 2 ℓ/ha with a 4 month
interval, than a single application at full rate. Where grass weeds are a problem, apply in combination with
Bromacil 800 WP. See Bromacil 800 WP label for recommended dosage rates.
Coffee, Macadamia and Pecan Nuts
(established trees)
2,0 ℓ
Apply during spring to cleanly cultivated soil. Repeat application after 2 to 3 months.
3,0 – 4,0 ℓ
Sugarcane
(plant and ratoon crops)
Apply as a pre-emergence application in 200 – 400 ℓ water/ha.
Use the higher rate on heavier soils where longer residual activity is required, or where severe weed
infestation is anticipated.
Pre-emergence
(only Ag-Diuron 800 SC)
For additional control of Panicum maximum and Cyperus esculentus, use the higher rate for severe weed
infestation or less susceptible weed stage.
2,5 ℓ
+ 1,5 ℓ/ha Hexazinone
Pre- and early post-emergence
(in combination with other herbicides)
Apply pre- or early post-emergence.
OR
2,0 ℓ
+ 3,0 ℓ/ha Metribuzin
Apply pre- or early post-emergence.
OR
2,0 ℓ
+ 2,5 ℓ/ha Paraquat
Apply early to late post-emergence.
OR
2,5 ℓ
+ 3,5 - 6,0 ℓ/ha MCPA
+ 0,06 % Aqua-Wet*
Apply early post-emergence.
OR
3,0 ℓ
+ 3,0 ℓ/ha MSMA
Apply early post-emergence.
Note: C. rotundus is not controlled.
