The FA Small Works Fund application notice
For the attention of: Step 7A and 7B Leagues clubs and Clubs in division below Step 7 with a
clear prospect of being promoted to Step 7
 that still need to undertake work in order to achieve the current minimum ground
grading criteria.
 Clubs below Step 7 with likelihood of promotion to Step 7 assessed by a league which
need to achieve the ground grading criteria.
All applications must be completed by this League in consultation with the clubs concerned
that need to achieve the current minimum ground grading criteria. Any such Clubs MUST
inform the League Secretary as a matter of urgency and in any event by no later than
10th February to enable an application to be considered.

Typical applications might be the installation of additional shower heads, WC for
officials or pitch perimeter barriers.

Work should not start until funding has been agreed by the League Finance
Committee. Grants will not be made retrospectively.
FA CHARTER STANDARD HEALTH CHECK
This is just a reminder that the 2014/15 FA Charter Standard Annual Health Check
deadline is the 31 March 2015. If you require any help or advice when completing this

may result in fixtures being postponed and/or removal of the team in the league.
RULE 8 (C)
A reminder for Clubs that players having played eight or more games in a higher
Division of the League or any other League or a more Senior Cup, during the current
season, shall be eligible to play in a lower Division providing that not more than
three such players take part in a match on one date. Players may be reinstated as
Reserve players on application to the Management Committee.
CLUB ISSUES
Please ensure you respond promptly to all League matters specifically those affecting your
own club/players to avoid unnecessary fines. In addition if you foresee a problem looming
whilst we may not be able to solve it for you, if we are unaware of what it is then it becomes
impossibility. All such requests will be treated in confidence.
STEP 7 STATUS
All Clubs currently in the Premier Division and those aspiring to be promoted are
reminded that they MUST comply with the FA’s full step 7 criteria.

Please note that whenever a team is shown as not having a fixture on any particular Saturday
in this fixture booklet it must NOT be assumed that it will remain a free week.
USE OF PITCHES OTHER THAN A CLUBS NOMINATED GROUND
Clubs are reminded that applications must be made in writing to the General Secretary.
