Alan Charles Raul

Alan Raul is the founder and lead global coordinator of Sidley’s highly ranked Privacy, Data Security and Information
Law practice. He represents companies on federal, state and international privacy issues, including global data
protection and compliance programs, data breaches, cybersecurity, consumer protection issues and Internet law.
Alan’s practice involves litigation and counseling regarding consumer class actions, FTC, State Attorney General,
Department of Justice and other government investigations, enforcement actions and regulation. Alan provides clients
with perspective gained from extensive government services, as well. He previously served as Vice Chairman of the
White House Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, General Counsel of the Office of Management and Budget,
and of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Associate Counsel to the President.
Alan serves as a member of the Privacy, Intellectual Property, Technology, and Antitrust Litigation Advisory
Committee of the National Chamber Litigation Center (affiliated with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce). Alan also
serves on the American Bar Association’s Cybersecurity Legal Task Force by appointment of the ABA President.
In addition to leading a “Privacy and Data Security” practice nationally rated by Chambers Global and Chambers USA,
Alan is ranked by Chambers in its top tier of Privacy and Data Security practitioners. Chambers USA has described
Alan as a “true ‘ambassador’ for the privacy sector” who “attracts praise for his deep knowledge of the field.
Interviewees stress that ‘he gives invaluable advice’ and is known to be a strong litigator. He also earns plaudits for his
regulatory compliance and data protection policy expertise.” He has been named as a leading international Internet
and E-Commerce Lawyer in Who’s Who Legal. Alan was also named to Ethisphere Institute’s “Attorneys Who Matter”
in Data Privacy/Security, which recognizes lawyers with the highest commitment to public service, legal community
engagement and academic involvement.
Alan is a frequent author and speaker on privacy and related issues. He is the author of the book, Privacy and the
Digital State: Balancing Public Information and Personal Privacy (Kluwer Academic Publishers 2001), and a co-author
of the book, Administrative Law of the European Union: Oversight (ABA 2008). He has appeared frequently as a legal
commentator on television and radio, and testifies before Congress on various issues.

Neal is AQR’s Chief Technology Officer. In that role, he is responsible for all activities related to the design,
development and implementation of systems, software and infrastructure. Prior to AQR, he was a Managing Director
and Chief Information Officer of UBS’s global wealth management business in Zurich, and before that he was a
partner at D.E. Shaw & Co. in New York City. He began his career at Swiss Bank-O'Connor in Chicago. Neal has a B.S.
in Computer Science from Brown University.

Brian Fox is a principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers based in the New York City office. He leads PwC’s New York Cyber
Forensics team, and specializes in rapid, highly technical incident response and investigations in response to
unplanned client events, particularly data breaches, other cyber attacks, fraud, theft of trade secrets, spoliation and
transaction analysis. He has extensive experience consulting with clients on the topics of incident response, data
preservation and data analysis related to breach incidents. Brian also consults extensively on Information Governance
to Fortune 500 clients, including assisting clients with the governance structures, incident plans, data classification,
preservation, analytics and reporting around electronic information in preparation for crisis situations.
Mr. Fox has been a recurring speaker at numerous major law firms, corporations and government entities, including
the United States Secret Service, discussing the role of advanced technology and its applications in investigations. Fox
has also been retained in a consultative capacity to analyze electronic inventory systems, map data flow, and interview
technical witnesses on behalf of attorneys. Fox has been deposed, appointed Officer of the Court, and has assisted
counsel at trial in the capacity of forensic technology expert.

NY. Dave has more than 20 years of experience in Business Process and IT Risk, IT security, IT audit and
compliance/regulatory readiness. Dave has a strong background in delivering IT Risk Management and Information
Security Assurance, Privacy, Data Protection, Third Party Assurance, Advisory, and Internal Audit engagements.
Dave has led global teams and significant engagements on IT, Security, Business, Regulatory, and Audit issues
surrounding Information technology, IT Risk Management, Governance, Security, Privacy, Data Protection,
Regulatory and Strategy assessments. His client experience ranges from working with a broad variety of global
financial institutions, technology companies, and other non financial services companies including: exchanges, money
center, consumer, and international banks, savings and loan institutions, investment banks, hedge funds, electronic
exchanges, broker/dealers, technology, products and services companies. David has a Bachelor of Science in Finance
with a minor in Computer Science from Ithaca College and he is a Certified Public Accountant.

Michael Corcione is a Director of Advisory in the Financial Services sector with a focus on Asset Management and
Alternative Investment Firms. Michael currently leads PwC’s Asset Management IT Operations and Risk and
Regulatory Cybersecurity team.
Michael’s experience is vast and extensive with knowledge in technology, operations, compliance, and relationship
management. He's led several large projects including; operations and IT build outs, trading application design and
implementation, and compliance policy and procedure management. His roles often engaged him with senior
management, and C-Level executives (internal and client facing), on strategy and business development discussions
Prior to joining PwC, Michael has worked for alternative investment firms, financial service technology integrators,
and consulting agencies. Michael has implemented and managed various technologies to support investment
strategies from traditional long/short equity strategies, to complex algorithmic and quantitative trading models, as
well as private equity and venture capital investing.
