STUDENT/FACULTY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. Cotillion tickets are $45 per person and are on sale in F26 during LB1 from Feb. 10 - Feb. 19.
Sophomores may bring dates from West or East only. All obligations must be cleared prior to purchasing
tickets.
2. Beginning February 9th, seniors going on the senior trip will begin room selections. Everyone sharing a
room must come together to commit to a room and all payments must be current and up-to-date in order for a
student to be assigned to a room.
3. The music department will present Broadway Night 2015 on Thursday, February 19 and Friday,
February 20 at 7 PM in the new auditorium. This year's concert, "From Page to Stage," highlights
six shows based upon great books: "Spring Awakening," "West Side Story," "Les Miserables,"
"Fiddler on the Roof," "Ragtime," and "Godspell." Tickets cost $10 and may be purchased at the
door or from Mrs. Siegel or Mr. Flowers
4. The DECA Fashion Show will be Friday, February 13th during LB1 and LB2 in the New Auditorium.
Tuxes are from Formal Expressions and gowns are from Rena Elle Couture.
5. Cherry Hill West is starting a 3v3 intramural basketball league. Games will be played during
LB1 and LB2. Girls are encouraged to participate. Team makeups will depend on the participation
level. This is open for all students’, male and female, grades 9-12. There will be no charge for
participating in this league. See Mr. Papa for details.
6. Sophomores, juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to order class rings when the Herff-Jones
representative visits West on February 11 and 12th. Mr. Goldthwaite will take orders during the lunch periods
in the cafeteria both days and in the evening on February 12 in the Tech Room. Information will be available
closer to the sales date.
7. Barnes and Noble is running an essay contest for students to write about their favorite teacher.
The prize is $5,000 cash. Any interested student should stop into E23 and see Ms. Staffin or Mrs.
White for the information.
8. Don’t forget your someone special for Valentine’s Day, the Junior Class is selling ALEX and ANI Jewelry
for your convenience. The Prints of Love Charm Bangle Bracelet (Lion Paw) is $33. See Mrs. Reilly in
Student Activities for more information.
9. PTA memberships are accepted throughout the year. Please consider joining for only $10, and becoming
involved in the PTA at Cherry Hill West. Forms can be downloaded from the PTA section of the website.
10. Students interested in signing up for spring sports must have their completed paperwork into the Athletic
Office by February 1. Stop by the Athletic Office in G3 to pick up any needed forms or if you have any
questions.

12. Yearbook News:
 The price of the 2015 yearbook, filled with 228 full-color pages, has now gone up to $85. Students
should bring cash or check to purchase a book in person. Anyone interested in using a credit/debit
card should visit www.jostens.com.
13. Parking Information:
 Junior students can apply for a parking space. The parking applications are in the main office and on
the West website. Juniors must satisfy their school obligations before they apply for a parking
space. The obligations list is posted outside the main office and outside the student activities office.
 Freshmen or other students who operate a moped may park them on the cement sidewalk of E-wing
(the corner of E-wing facing the ball field/near the elevated breezeway). Students must provide their
own locks. The school assumes no responsibility for the mopeds. Students or parents with questions
or concerns may contact Officer Graham.
14. Students wishing to submit the new activities fee for participation in athletics and clubs may take their
payment to Mrs. Manfredi in the Guidance Office.
15. Students wishing to return or pay for school books or equipment may see Mrs. Reilly in the student
activities office in the cafeteria during LB1 & LB2.
16. All males eighteen (18) years of age must register with Selective Service System. It is a federal law.
Young men may pick up forms at the post office or see Chief Gargas for more information. (Registration
may be done online at http://www.sss.gov/QA.htm.)
FACULTY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

2. IMPORTANT! Faculty members/club advisors and coaches who wish to use the building for any
meetings or activities should contact Carole Roskoph so that they are put on the building usage calendar.
3. Groups needing to post signs are reminded to have them stamped in the Student Activities Office before
displaying them. No signs are to be placed on any walls, windows, or doors. All displays must be removed
in a timely fashion.
4. Submissions for the Weekly Bulletin should be submitted to Mrs. Reilly by 3 PM of the preceding week.
5. All staff should remember to register their vehicles and obtain a valid parking decal. Vehicles not
displaying a proper decal may be ticketed and/or towed. Campus police have the necessary forms.
6. All fundraisers must be pre-approved by Ms. Roskoph.
