From the office:
Kidz Inc. Fundraisers: From time to time during the year, we host fundraisers to raise extra funds to
expand out playgrounds, buildings, educational equipment and toys.
Included in this newsletter is the raffle form for Valentine’s Day . On behalf of your child, please
sell raffles at R5.00. We have a wonderful prize for the winner! (See form). The raffle money and forms
must be returned to Kidz Inc. on Thursday 12 February. The winners will be announced on Thursday 12
February and prizes handed over before Valentine’s Day. The family selling the most raffles will also
receive a prize!
Extra Murals: Grade R children (born 2009) are all enrolled for Computers as part of the Grade R
curriculum. Kindly note that there is a once off registration fee of R100 towards Stimu-zone. This will
be invoiced on your next statement.
If your child participates in ANY extra mural activity, this will be stated on your invoice with a 0.00
balance. It is for record purposes only! Kidz Inc. does not invoice extra murals. Kidz Inc. also follows a
strict policy of NOT receiving cash on behalf of any extra mural activity. All payments for extra murals
must be made directly to the particular contractor.
SMS Messages from Kidz Inc.: Sms messages are sent from time to time. Kindly do not reply to these as
the messages are sent from my computer. Should you need to discuss the sms, please phone the school
on 011 793 2120 or my cell phone on 083 302 4209 or email me on [email protected]
Additional costs on your February invoice : A summary of the extras on your next account is as follows:
 T shirt R50
 Art Files R15
 Grade R and Lion Class first term files R20
Sun block: If you want your baby or child to wear sun block on a daily basis, kindly put this on before
arriving at school.
Newsletters : All relevant newsletters, invoices, brochures and invitations will be placed in your little
“postbag” outside the front door. Please check yours on a regular basis! There are postbags for siblings
– please check if you have more than one child attending Kidz Inc.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU ONLY TAKE NEWSLETTERS FROM YOUR CHILD’S POSTBAG! Your child’s
post bag color coincides with his/her class T-shirt.
Newsletters are posted in the OLDEST child’s postbag. Extra mural enrolment forms and party
invitations will be in ALL children’s post bags. Please check both your children’s bags if you have more
than one child!
My school card: Please support us with our continuous fundraisers with your MY SCHOOL CARD. If you
need an application form, let me know. If you have a card and we are not one of your beneficiaries,
please add us! (All you need to do is log onto www.myschool.co.za!)
Good quality second hand toys: If you are getting rid of toys/books/puzzles in a good second hand
condition (not broken please) kindly consider donating it to us. We are collecting second hand goods for
the pediatric ward at WITS. Any donations will be most welcomed!

Gabriela Völkel Speech Therapy is very excited to be working at Kidz Inc. this year. We offer speech-language therapy to children who have difficulties

Gabriela Völkel Speech Therapy will be at Kidz Inc. every Wednesday morning and will see children during school time. We offer individual and group
therapy sessions. If you are unsure whether or not your child requires speech therapy, please speak to your child’s teacher and we will be happy to
have a look at your child and give his/her teacher feedback.
Please note that we work independently from Kidz Inc. andall communication with parents is made directly between Gabriela Völkel Speech Therapy
and the parents. Fees are payable directly to the practice.
