The Triangle Factory Fire
Project
Sir Winston Churchill presents The Triangle Factory Fire Project. This
production will run March 4th to 6th at 7pm in the theatre. Tickets go on
sale February 9th, check the website for more information.
The show deals with a real-life tragedy, and as such may not be appropriate for younger
audiences. It is recommended that children over 12 see the show with their parents.
Children under 12 may find the story too graphic and disturbing.
All IB Students
ALL IB Students registered to write an IB exam in May 2015: You should
have received an invitation to participate in a world-wide Academic
Honesty survey. If you do not want to participate, the form must be
returned to Mrs. Miller by Feb 11. Your participation will occur through
your CBE email account, later this year

written by interested Grade 10 students on Tuesday, February 24, at
10:00 am. Interested student should come to register with Mrs. Miller, pay
the $8.00 exam and mailing fee, and complete a cross-class booking

Wee Read Program
Do you like to work with children? Do you enjoy volunteering?
Come volunteer at Captain John Palliser Elementary School – just across
the field beside the swimming pool! As a part of the Wee Read program,
you can read to kids in Kindergarten to Grade 2 and work with them on
reading comprehension and vocabulary.
Weekly sessions start Wednesday February 25th in either periods 1 or 2.
You will need a spare to participate.

HEALTH SERVICES YOUTH INITIATIVE WORK PLACEMENT
PROGRAM
This is an opportunity for students in Grade 11 to work for six weeks in a
health services environment with health care professionals and their
patients. There are a variety of positions available each year. The
program is competitive and if you are short listed, you will be interviewed
by a manager of a health facility. Successful students, through the offcampus program, receive high school credits, wages, and best of all, an
incredible experience!

This weekend your very own Bulldogs hosted the Churchill Classic
Wrestling Tournament welcoming 300 high school wrestlers. The girls
placed 2nd overall and the boys placed 3rd overall as teams. Twelve out
of thirty one students placed in the top six.
