Invitation for ‘Expression of Interest’ for PROVISION OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES (1071/HR)
Brunei Gas Carriers Sdn Bhd (BGC) is keen to seek an Expression of Interest or otherwise from companies
for the abovementioned services.
Tender Scope:
The Company requires the Vendor to provide the following services:
1. Lease of one (1) nine (9) seater Minivan for the Company’s use to transport staff and guests, deliver
letters and other related general administration.
2. Lease one (1) of seven (7) seater 4-Wheel Drive vehicle for office daily work related use.
3. Provision of chauffeured vehicle services on a call-off basis for the purpose of transporting BGC
personnel for visits and events.
All vehicles must undergo and comply with the requirements of BGC Land Transport procedures.
Local Business Development
BGC’s LBD requirements are in line with the LBD directives as issued by the Energy Department, Prime
Minister’s office. This scope falls under BASIC quadrant of the LBD framework as such the following shall
apply:

EOI and Tender shall only open to BUMIPUTRA companies;

The owners of the company must be actively participating in its daily operation and management of the
business;

Target for recruitment and development of suitably qualified Bruneian employees including graduates will
be part of Tender/Contract.
Pre-qualification requirements:
Vendor is required to submit the following documentation:
a. Copy of Certificate of registration of business name (Section 16&17)
b. Copy of Share certificates of shareholders
c.
Copy of certificate of incorporation
d. Copy of particulars of Directors or Manager (form X)
e. Copy of Bank Authorized Signatories

g. Return on Allotment of Shares (Section 45)
h. Notice of Change in the situation of the registered office (if any)

Copy of Identity cards of shareholders or partners with valid expiry date
j.
Confirmation of Owner’s active participation in day-to-day operations of the Company.

This expression of interest shall not be deemed to be an invitation to tender. BGC shall have the right and sole
discretion to reject any part or all of the response made by the Contractor. BGC shall have the right and sole
discretion to determine the bidders for this tender. This letter serves solely for the purpose of obtaining
Expression of Interest only and shall neither in any way be construed as to create any legal obligation on the
parties responding to this advertisement nor mentioned herein. Expenses incurred in connection to this shall be
borne entirety by the interested parties.
