information for this Summer’s Ranger Rendezvous. We will
endeavor to post additions/changes as they occur.
The Holiday Inn- Columbus, GA offers an ideal North Columbus location that
travelers appreciate. We are conveniently located in the heart of the city just off of
I-185, within a mile of the Columbus Metropolitan Airport and within ten minutes
to Fort Benning (Home of the Infantry).

Our Banquet will be held on Thursday, 13 August at the National Infantry Museum.

Col. Christopher S. Vanek will relinquish command to Col. Marcus Evans at the
change of command ceremony Aug. 13.
Some Scheduled Events: Mass Tac Jump, maneuver demo; a State of the
Regiment Brief & Distinguished/Honorary Member of the Regt Ceremony; the
Ranger Hall of Fame Ceremony; Combative Competitions; a Ranger BBQ; and, the
75th Ranger Regiment Change of Command.
Additional information regarding room availability, prices (for the rooms, banquet,
and Reunion) will be added as that information becomes available. We will also be
adding to the schedule of events as each activity is scheduled & confirmed.

75th RRA Reunion 2015
Our Ranger Reunion will take place at Columbus/Fort Benning, Georgia this coming summer of 2015. 10-15 August, we
will again have the Ranger Rendezvous.
On 12 August we will go to the Ranger Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, followed by a memorial service for our fallen
LRRP/Rangers at the Ranger Memorial.
The 75th Ranger Regiment will have its change-of-command ceremony on the parade field directly behind the National
Infantry Museum on Thursday 13 August 2015 in the morning.
Our Banquet will be held on Thursday, 13 August at the National Infantry Museum. We will be allowed to tour the
facility during our cocktail hour and our banquet will be held upstairs that evening. Tour starts at 5 PM and the banquet
begins at 6PM.
Our guest speaker will be BG (RET) David L. Grange, 7th Colonel of the 75th Ranger Regiment. General Grange was a
member of Company L (Ranger) 75th Infantry (Airborne) while in Vietnam. I am sure you will want to hear him speak.
We have more things in store, and they will be announced in our next edition of Patrolling Magazine and on our web
site. General Membership meeting and elections TBA.
We will have our base of operations at the Holiday Inn North, as in the past. Columbus does not have large hotel
facilities, and this is the largest available to host our membership. However, they are building a new facility on Fort
Benning that will be available only in September of 2015.
