This word came from our Social Studies Department. . ****************************************************************** *****ATTENTION STUDENTS &FACULTY: Help us make America Go Red on ‘NATIONAL WEAR RED DAY” February 6th. In 2003, the American Heart Association and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute took action against a disease that was claiming the lives of nearly 500,000 American women each year – a disease that women were not paying attention to. But heart disease and strokes kill 1 in 3 women every year. Because of this, National Wear Red Day was born. It’s held on the first Friday in February every year to raise awareness about heart disease being the No. 1 killer of women. Please join us this Friday, Feb. 6th by wearing red as the whole country will be promoting awareness of this deadly disease. *****ATTENTION ALL STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS: Next Officers meeting is Thurs.
