@ 12:45. We are in need of volunteers for the month of

Valentine Banquet February 14th in the FLC, this will
be a fundraiser to support our Youth. Sign up sheet
located in the foyer. See Devon Smith or Susan Redmond turn in menu selection cards. This is by donation only, a basket will be at the banquet for your
donations. Come out and support our youth.
Starting February 3rd the Church will be providing a meal for everyone @ 5:30PM in the Family
Life Center.
I’m going to enjoy teaching about other beliefs on Wednesday nights. Just this week
while getting what hair I have left cut I got to witness to someone who grew up Baptist, but
now is attending another way different belief than us and is receiving the (sisters) in her
home for study of their bible and extra book they hold as inspired. I got to speak just a
little to her but I did ask her some thought provoking questions and highly encouraged her
to read the Gospel of John from a regular Bible and the first chapter of Galatians. The
lady even though claimed to grow up “Baptist” needed Jesus in her life. I hope as she reads
the Word that the Holy Spirit will work grace in her heart. I plan with the Lord’s help to
teach these sessions showing what the Holy Bible teaches in regard to other beliefs. Come
join us at 6pm on Wednesday’s. Hope to see all of you in Sonday morning Bible study with a
Bible in hand.

Dear Choir,
Thanks for the opportunity to worship and lead music with you!
Starting this month, regular choir practices will be held on Wednesday nights
following Prayer Meeting at 7:00PM and will no longer be held on Sunday
nights. We will be practicing new songs for Praise & Worship and Choir Specials for Sunday Morning Worship. I look forward to sharing this new music
with you, and I pray that the words of the songs will touch your heart in
such a way that brings you closer to Jesus!
Remember to invite new members to sing with us at rehearsals and on Sunday
Mornings.

Dear Students,
There are many exciting things going on with the youth in February, so please read carefully!
Valentine's Day is fast approaching! We will celebrate Valentine's Day together as a Youth Group on Wednesday,
February 10th. Plan to meet at the church for 5:30PM, and bring money for dinner at the Mustard Seed ($10-$15
should cover it, plus tip). Also, your first opportunity to make some money for summer camp will be at the Adult
Valentine's Banquet on Sunday, February 14th. We will be serving the adults that night, and any profits we make
from this fundraiser will be split up between all youth that work for camp expenses. WINTERJAM will be held
on Friday, March 4th! This is a great, inexpensive opportunity to listen to a variety of Christian artists. We
will meet at the church for 8:00AM that day, and drive to the Toyota Center in Houston, TX for the concert. It
is only $10 admission into the concert! Please also bring money to eat at a fast food restaurant for lunch
(about $5-$8 should cover that) and if you want CDs or t-shirts at the concert. Artist include: For King and
Country, Matthew West, Crowder, Lauren Daigle, Red, Newsong, Sidewalk Prophets, KB, Tadashii, Stars Go Dim, We
Are Messengers, and speaker Tony Nolan! This will be a great night of worship and fellowship, so please join us
and bring friends!

Hey youth! We had a great start to the new year with our gumbo cooking class. Our gumbo lunch
fundraiser was a hit as well. I would like to thank all of you for participating and a HUGE shout
out to all those who brought food and volunteered. Y'all made it happen!
In February the Jr. High youth will be co-hosting the Valentine's Day banquet on the 14th. We are
also having a family game night on the 26th (parents are welcome and bring your favorite board
game). Looking forward to tons of fun and spiritual growth this year!
