The Agricultural Societies Council of New South Wales Ltd. advises that the
participation, including passive participation, in events or activities at an
agricultural show contains elements of risk, both obvious and inherent. The
risks involved may result in property damage and/or personal injury including death.
1. I the signatory acknowledge, agree, and understand that participation, including passive participation, in events
and activities at this, or at any show contains an element of risk of injury.
2. I the signatory acknowledge, agree, and understand that the risk warning at the top of this form constitutes a
‘risk warning’ for the purposes of Division 5 of the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW).
3. I understand that by participating in this show, the subject minor may become exposed to the risk of injury, and
I consent to the participation.
4. I, the signatory assert that the below named minor voluntarily consents to participation in this show.
5. I, the signatory acknowledge the risk referred to above and agree to waive any and all rights that I, the above
named minor, or any other person, may have against the HENTY Show Society in relation to any loss or injury
(including death) that is suffered by the subject minor as a result of participation in this show/event.
6. The signatory must continually indemnify the HENTY show society on a full indemnity basis against any claim
or proceeding that is made, threatened or commenced, and any liability, loss, (including consequential loss, and
loss of profits), damage or expense (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) that the HENTY Show
Society incurs or suffers, as a direct or indirect result of the subject minor’s participation in any event held by the
HENTY Show Society.

HENTY SHOW HORSE RULES
Competitors and spectators are required to keep the access lane clear and
not loitre.
Dogs must not enter the area bounded by the chain wire fence (the oval), at
all other times they must be on a leash or be held.
All competitors must complete & sign a waiver form prior to competing.
These can be found on back page of Horse Schedule, and must be handed in
at arena gate to receive a wristband WHICH MUST BE WORN.
FUN RING: No Pony Club Uniforms Long boots or jackets to be worn in
Fun ring!!!
Registration papers must be produced upon request in all breed rings. All
height specifications within schedule must be obeyed.
SHOWHUNTERS: If a horse competes in open height classes, e.g. Hack
ring they are then not eligible to enter Show hunter classes & vice versa.
Show hunter champion is not eligible for Supreme exhibit.

All riders must wear regulation attire, approved safety helmets to be worn
when riding.
Stallions must be handled by persons over 18yrs and must be bitted.
Random swabbing may be carried out under EA requirements.
Protests or disputed results must be in writing & received no later then end
of the ring in question, signed and include $50 fee and presented to the
Ringmaster, if found to be frivolous or not upheld this fee will be forfeited.
Judges must not be approached by competitor or member of the public
except through the Ringmaster.
RING ORDER
IMPROPER BEHAVOUR: Outside assistance to competitors by word,
by radio or by any other means in Horse ring events will NOT be
permitted. If in breech of this ruling competitors and their exhibits may
be dismissed from grounds, competitors name to be given to A.S.C.

The Agricultural Societies Council of New South Wales advises that the
participation, including passive participation, in events or activities at an
agricultural show contains elements of risk, both obvious and inherent. The risks
involved may result in property damage and/or personal injury including death.
1. I the signatory acknowledge, agree, and understand that participation, including passive participation, in events
and activities at this, or at any show contains an element of risk of injury and I agree that I undertake any such risk
voluntarily of my own free will and at my own risk.
2. I the signatory acknowledge, agree, and understand that the risk warning at the top of this form constitutes a
‘risk warning’ for the purposes of Division 5 of the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW).
3. I the signatory acknowledge the risk referred to above and agree to waive any and all rights that I, or any other
person claiming through me, may have against the HENTY Show Society in relation to any loss or injury
(including death) that is suffered by me as a result of my participation in this show/event.
4. The signatory must continually indemnify the HENTY Show Society on a full indemnity basis against any
claim or proceeding that is made, threatened or commenced and any liability, loss (including consequential loss
and loss of profits), damages or expense (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) that the HENTY Show
Society incurs or suffers, as a direct or indirect result of the undersigned’s participation in any event held by the
HENTY Show Society.
I have read this Indemnity and Waiver form and acknowledge and agree with its contents. I have made any further
enquires which I feel are necessary or desirable and fully understand the risks involved in this activity.
