CLASS 3 – SPELL ON YOU EX RACE HORSE – not to be ridden by the judge. CLASS 4 – ZOMBIE RIDDEN PONY – any suitable bridle, 3yrs old and over – rider any age but must be suitable for the pony. MIXED HEIGHT CLASS FOR NOVICE SHOW HUNTER PONY, not exc. 153 cms. Competitors must be the correct age for the height of the animal they ride CLASS 11 ‐ B.S.P.S. MIXED HEIGHT CLASS FOR OPEN (RESTRICTED) S.H.P.not exceeding 153 cms. Competitors must be the correct age for the height of the animal they ride The three highest placed restricted animals in each class will qualify, and in the mixed height class the four highest placed restricted animals will qualify, (riders on restricted animals MUST wear an armband). Animals eligible for the Restricted Show Pony Classes must NOT have been placed 1st to 8th at the R.I.H.S. (except Pretty Polly), or H.O.Y.S. in the Show Pony Classes in the PREVIOUS or CURRENT YEAR.
The 1st prize winner from each of the Open/Restricted classes and the Open First Pony of Show Hunter Type will qualify for the B.S.P.S. “Winter Winners” Competition to be held at the B.S.P.S. Winter Championships to be held on 2nd – 5th April, 2015. All bookings of the centre, once confirmed, are liable to a 50% cancellation fee should they be moved or cancelled Cancellation of a full day without 3 months written notice, or a part day without a weeks notice will make the total fee due. The College EC reserve the right to cancel, add to or amend any of the Competitions as they see fit due to weather conditions etc. The ability to tie up horses to the outside of boxes is a privilege not a right. This practice WILL BE BANNED if horses continue to be left unattended, or are allowed to dig up the lorry park surface. No horses to be tied to buildings or fencing. No haynets outside horseboxes Once an entry has been made, withdrawal will entail forfeiture of that fee. Fees will be liable immediately for any telephone / fax or e‐mailed entry made after the closing date. Non declaration does not remove the requirement to pay the entry fee due All unaffiliated events are run under the guidance of affiliated rules‐BSJA BD or BE. The decision of the judge is final. Neither The College Equestrian Centre, not any of its representative or staff shall be held liable for any accident, injury or damage or loss whatsoever, howsoever caused to any person animal or property at any time. Please dispose of your litter thoughtfully in bins provided. Please do not muck out into car parks. Please ask organizers before riding on grass. Any lungeing is by prior permission only, and is never permitted indoors or outdoors. You are politely requested to pick up all droppings on arenas after your animal. Any damage to any property owned or hired or rented by or from The College EC apart from normal wear and tear will be paid for at cost at the time of damage Smoking is only permitted in designated areas, and prohibited around the stable block or in arenas. All dogs must be kept on leads. Dogs are not permitted on the veranda. If dog owners do not clean up their own dogs mess, this privilege will be removed. No dogs in arenas. All horse and ponies must only move through areas shared with pedestrians at walk. No competitor / rider shall allow a stallion for which they are responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure competitors, officials or other members of the public are not put at risk of injury The College EC reserves the right to refuse entry to class and show ground. Children must be under adult supervision at all times All competitors/riders must wear correctly fastened hats to current approved safety standards and be correctly and appropriately dressed at all times when riding. The College EC reserves the right to restrict prizes to one for every five entries, in accordance with BSJA Rule 76 (6) Formal objections must be made within 30 minutes of event, accompanied by a deposit of £25, forfeited if the objection is over ruled. Constructive criticism is welcomed Entry constitutes an agreement to be bound by and abide by these Rules. We required payment in advance for each clinic (this minimizes our administration costs and therefore clinic prices). No space will be held without appropriate fee Payment will only be refunded on production of a vet/doctors certificate, providing reasonable notice is given, and the place can be re‐allocated. If a clinic place cannot be re‐allocated, payment in full must be made. Total fee can be transferred (once) to another clinic. No monies will be refunded for cancellations within 48 hrs of event. Every effort will be made to offer your place if a waiting list exists Clinic times will be available 48 hours before the clinic by calling 01234 708400. The competition number worn must be applicable to the rider/horse combination that has paid an entry fee. MAIN ROUTES & DIRECTIONS TO THE COLLEGE From the North M1 ‐ Exit J15 for Northampton (A508) this road becomes the A45, go past Wellingborough & Rushden, at the A45/A6 rd
Roundabout take 3 exit, next roundabout turn right onto B645 to Kimbolton. Just after Kimbolton turn right on to B660. Keysoe is 5 miles A1 ‐ Turn off right at Buckden roundabout, past Grafham Water to Great Staughton. Turn right (B645 Kimbolton) After Stonely turn left (B660 Pertenhall & Keysoe) Keysoe is 5 miles. From The South M1 ‐ Exit J13 for Bedford (A421), continue past Bedford on the bypass to exit A4280 Bedford / Renhold / Barford. Take the A4280 for Bedford, next roundabout, right (by Rogers) over 3 roundabouts, at 3rd (Pheasant Pub) turn right (B660) Keysoe is 8 miles A1 ‐ Turn off left at second St Neots Exit (B645) Take the B645 Through Great Staughton & Stonely. Just before Kimbolton turn left onto B660 (Pertenhall & Keysoe), Keysoe is 5 miles From The West M6 then A14 turn off at Kettering for A6 (Rushden / Bedford), this is the 4th Kettering exit. Take the A6 to Rushden, after the A45 roundabout follow the Rushden bypass to pick up the B645 to Kimbolton, go through Kimbolton then right to pick up B660 (right turn) to Keysoe A43 to Northampton, then A45 (then as above M1 North) A421 across M1 to Bedford (then as “M1 South”) From The East A428 to St Neots, follow signs to A1. Travel North on A1 for 1 mile, exit B645 (Kimbolton). Through Great Staughton, after Stonely turn left (B660 Keysoe). A14 to A1, South to Buckden (then as “A1 North”) Directions In Keysoe From the North (Kimbolton / Pertenhall) One mile past the Chequers Public house, (at the top of the hill) turn right into Church road, we are 3/4 mile on the left. Payments by Credit Card state full number and start and expiry dates and security no. Cheques made payable to “The
College EC”.
A separate refundable “clean-box” fee of £10 per stable ,is required. Cheques which will be torn up if stable left clean;
payments by card will result in a second £10 fee being taken if the stable is left dirty. Booking of stables is taken as
agreement to these terms. Stables are to be left totally empty of bedding and swept clean.
Boxes are allocated on a “first come first served basis”.
Once a booking has been accepted, refunds will not be given unless the box can be re-let (£10 admin charge will be levied
per box).Bedding will be either delivered to your box or available from a central point –please check before departure.
Bedding payments can be made on stabling cheque (please check bedding prices, a these can fluctuate). NO PAPER
BEDDING on site please, but you are welcome to bring your own bedding.

duty of care for your stabled horse, dogs or property.
No smoking and n o dogs in or around buidings or arenas. Please clear up after your dogs.
On arrival park in main car park and offload from there
Put your horse only in the stable you are allocated , horse in incorrect boxes will be evicted.
Clear your beds to the muckheap only and rubbish in bins provided.
