Class 1. PONY BRITISH NOVICE (FIRST ROUND) / 0.80M OPEN
Rule: 410 | Table: A7 | Speed: 325m/m | Height: 0.80m
Open to registered ponies in JD to be ridden by Junior members. Riders competing on
128cms or 138cms ponies in the British Novice section must be aged in accordance with
rule 77.12/77.13. In the event of 15 or more starters this class will be split. Ponies may
only compete in one section.

Class 2. DISCOVERY (FIRST ROUND) / 0.90M OPEN

Open to registered ponies which have not won a total of 300 points to be ridden by
Junior members. Riders competing on 128cms or 138cms ponies in the Discovery
section must be aged in accordance with rule 77.12/77.13. In the event of 30 or more
starters this class will be split. Ponies may only compete in one section.

Class 3. SPRINGBOARD 128CMS/138CMS RESTRICTED HANDICAP
COMPETITION
Rule: 415 | Table: A | Speed: 325m/m | 128cms Height: 0.90m | 138cms Height: 1.00m
Open to registered ponies not exceeding 138cms to be ridden by Junior members.
Riders must be aged in accordance with rule 77.12/77.13. This competition is open to all
but for qualification purposes: in the 128cms Section junior riders are eligible to enter,
irrespective of points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of ten years is
reached. Riders who reach the age of ten years and over in the current calendar year,
must not have won a total of 500 points. In the 138cms section junior riders are eligible
to enter, irrespective of points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of
twelve is reached. Riders who reach the age of twelve years and over in the current
calendar year, must not have won a total of 850 points. Pony riders are not eligible to
enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is
reached. 128cms ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms section. Once riders have
competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no
longer eligible to compete in the Final. Two double clears to qualify for the final.
Qualification is Pony/Rider combination. In the event of equality the prize money will
be divided.

Rule 289b. (A & B) Table A. Speed 325mpm. Fences not exceeding 90cms in the first
round.
For Registered ponies not exceeding 138cms to be ridden by Junior members born on or
after 1st January 2004 (For classes Scheduled in 2015) This class will be table A Two
Rounds not against the clock. All equal first in round one will go nforward to round two
over a shortened course. All Double Clears will Qualify for the Final to be held at the
Scottish Branch Trophy Show in November 2015. All qualifying double clears will
receive a rosette and medal. In the event of equality, Prize money is divided.

Open to registered ponies to be ridden by Junior members. In the event of 30 or more
starters class will be split. Ponies may compete in one section only. The Open Section is
open to all; however those ponies competing in either the Open or the Newcomer
Section, ridden by Junior members who have not won a total of 500 Points are eligible
for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship. Four
double clears (subject to revision) to qualify for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m
Championship at the British Showjumping 2015 National Championships. Qualification
is pony and rider Combination. First rosette in the pony newcomers section sponsored
by Blue Chip

Open to registered ponies ridden by junior members. This Competition is Open to all
but for qualification purposes those pony / rider combinations that have been placed in
a Winter JA Classic or Pony Show Jumper of the Year will not be eligible to compete in
the final.
Two Double clears (Subject to revision) qualifies for the final to be held at the British
Showjumping National Championships. Qualification is Pony/Rider Combination.
