PONY BRITISH NOVICE (FIRST ROUND) / 0.80M OPEN Rule: 410 | Table: A7 | Speed: 325m/m | Height: 0.80m Open to registered ponies in JD to be ridden by Junior members. Riders competing on 128cms or 138cms ponies in the British Novice section must be aged in accordance with rule 77.12/77.13. In the event of 15 or more starters this class will be split. Ponies may only compete in one section. Prizes: £25, £15, £14, £14, £12 Entry Fee: £12 Class 2. DISCOVERY (FIRST ROUND) / 0.90M OPEN Rule: 408 | Table: A7 | Speed: 325m/m | Height: 0.90m Open to registered ponies which have not won a total of 300 points to be ridden by Junior members. Riders competing on 128cms or 138cms ponies in the Discovery section must be aged in accordance with rule 77.12/77.13. In the event of 30 or more starters this class will be split. SPRINGBOARD 128CMS/138CMS RESTRICTED HANDICAP COMPETITION Rule: 415 | Table: A | Speed: 325m/m | 128cms Height: 0.90m | 138cms Height: 1.00m Open to registered ponies not exceeding 138cms to be ridden by Junior members. Riders must be aged in accordance with rule 77.12/77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes: in the 128cms Section junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of ten years is reached. Riders who reach the age of ten years and over in the current calendar year, must not have won a total of 500 points. In the 138cms section junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of twelve is reached. Riders who reach the age of twelve years and over in the current calendar year, must not have won a total of 850 points. Pony riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached. 128cms ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms section. Once riders have competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final. Two double clears to qualify for the final.
