About the Expo
Agriculture is the main drive of countries
economic growth. Innovative solutions are
urgently required which will eventually lead to
future development in agriculture.
The expo will be a prelude to inculcate the
importance of innovativeness in agricultural
research, among the PG students of our
country.
The National expo will be conducted for
one day as poster presentation session only
at AC&RI Madurai, TNAU, Tamil Nadu --- An
assemblage of innovative research ideas/
work of PG scholars in Indian Agricultural
University.

Call for posters
Innovative ideas are invited in any of the
theme areas listed above for poster
presentation in the National expo. The
guidelines for the poster preparation
for display are as follows:
1. Poster should be self-contained and
self-explanatory with mixture of text
and graphics with introduction
placed at the upper left and
conclusion at the lower right. The
participants photograph at the
extreme upper right.

3. Arrange materials in columns. Title
and captions should be short and
easy to read, in Arial font.
4. Participants should come with the
poster and display it before the
expo opening ceremony.
Awards
The best poster presentation by the
PG scholars will be awarded for each
thematic area in the National expo.

• No Registration fee.
• Registration is compulsory.
Important points
• PDF format of the A4 size poster prepared
should
be
sent
to
the
email:

filled in registration form on or before
20.03.2015.
• Hard copy of filled in registration form and
poster (A4 size ) should be sent to The
Dean, AC & RI, Madurai.
• Only innovative ideas / works of the
PG scholars are invited.
• Routine experiments / field trials will
not be entertained since this
conference
is
to
encourage
innovative skills of PG scholars.
• PG scholars with good experimental
results can apply for “The 3rd AGSC2015” to be held at TNAU,
Coimbatore during May, 2015.
