5th Austrian Junior Open in Greco-Roman

According to its Greco-Roman wrestling developing policy, the KSV Götzis Wrestling Club is
organizing under the aegis of the Austrian Wrestling Federation the 5th Austrian Junior Open.
We would be very pleased to welcome your National Team to take part in our tournament,
according to the rules attached.

REGULATION
I.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The KSV Götzis Wrestling Club is organizing under the aegis of the Austrian Wrestling Federation “the
5th Austrian Junior Open in Greco-Roman”. The championship will take place according to the FILA
with a special competition system – 2-Pool-System. Contact: [email protected]

II.
PARTICIPATION
Each Federation can register up to 2 wrestlers per weight category. The competing wrestler must
possess a valid FILA license for the current year.
Preliminary registration: by January the 10th, 2015.
Registration by name: by February the 10th, 2015.
III.
ACCOMODATION
Full board per person in Pension (guest house) at € 50,- per day
Full board per person in Hotel at € 65,- per day
Accommodation will be allotted to federations on a first come, first served basis.

A € 12,- registration fee will be due for each wrestler registered for the championship.
IV.
Date and place
Teams will be welcomed on Friday, February the 27th, 2015 at the Wrestling Center in 6840 Götzis –
In der Riebe 8 (Accreditation Centre).
The medical check-in and weigh-in will take place at the Wrestling Center (same address) on
February 27th from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.– Tolerance : 2 kg.
The championship will take place at: Sporthalle der Neuen Mittelschule

50kg -55kg -60kg -66kg -74kg -84kg -96kg -120kg , Tolerance: 2kg
Age: Wrestlers born: 1998 – 1995
REFEREEING
FILA rules, two pools – each wrestler has at least two matches! It is mandatory to provide an
international referee for teams with more than 3 wrestlers.
Responsibility for the championship will be taken by the FILA delegate.
VI.
TRANSPORT
Each delegation must cover all transport expenses from its country to the town of Götzis. The local
organization will be responsible for the (free) transfer from the railway station of Götzis or Lindau
(Germany) and St. Margrethen (Suisse).
We can also pick up your team by mini bus at Zürich or Memmingen at a rate of € 90,- one way taking
up to 8 persons.
