TOWN Of CARY www.townofcary.org Optional Procedure for C-Tran ‘Door to Door Reservations’ and Important Service Updates C-Tran offers an optional method for registered passengers to reserve Door to Door trips and important service updates, such as inclement weather alerts, policy changes, and fare structure changes. If you desire to sign up for this specific option, please provide your Email address at the time of the Door to Door registration process OR simply follow the instruction screen below from the Town of Cary’s website. This will also direct you to the link on how to sign up. Please refer to this link http://www.townofcary.org/ then click on the green envelope, follow the instructions, and sign up your Email information. It is important to note that passengers’ registered Email addresses will be used primarily for the purposes of scheduling, trip confirmations, and important service updates. Your information will not be provided to any third parties and will remain confidential Below is the snapshot of the webpage where passengers could choose the specific information that you would like to obtain from the Town of Cary: In addition, this enhanced tool has been added as a method to ensure that a written confirmation of your trip window is provided. Specifically, for in-town pick-up times, 15 minutes before to 15 minutes after scheduled pick-up times. While for out-of-town pick-up-times, it may be up to 45 minutes past the scheduled pick-up times, as the trips required C-Tran vehicles to travel longer distances. ***For reservations, please call (919) 481-2020, ext. 3. Below is the following vital information required upon requesting a trip: Passenger’s full name Confirmation of the home address Destination address for the trip desired Requested date and time of pick-up desired Requested date and time of return trip pick-up. As noted above, registered passengers’ will receive trip confirmations of pick-up window time for one or both legs of the trip depending on whether or not you request a one-way or round-trip. C-Tran staff will make every attempt to provide this confirmation within two (2) hours of your request.
