GIFT CARD NEWS: From Jim Lowes & JoAnne Rorke
KIDVENTURE! (SUNDAY SCHOOL)
Thank you to all who placed card orders in January. The
profit generated for the church was $ 101.58. The next
order is scheduled for today. Order forms are available in
the mailbox across from the office. Thank you for your
ongoing support!
DID YOU TAKE THE WRONG JACKET HOME?
Cliff Wood, one of the attendees at the UCW Muffin Party on
Wednesday, noticed that the only remaining brown leather
jacket left hanging in the clothes rack was not his jacket.
Although almost identical in appearance to his coat, it was a
size too small.
Did you – or someone you know – take home a brown,
leather jacket that suddenly feels just a little bit bigger? If
so, can you please contact the office so we can facilitate an
exchange. Thank you so much!

A SPECIAL THANK YOU FROM A DEAR FRIEND ...
To the Ladies Auxiliary of St. James United Church:
It is the request of my mother (Dell Thornton-Neil) that I
write this message to you today. Mom is so very thankful
to have received the 2014 Christmas Message from the
Church. She misses the congregation and her long-time
association with all. As a family, we made the decision to
move our mom to Sarnia where she could enjoy the love
of her son, daughter-in-law and beautiful grandchildren.
Mom continues to struggle with many health issues, but
maintains her wonderful humor and her worship within
the doors of her new home. She has made many new
friends, but truly will never forget the wonderful
friendship she shared with those of St. James.
Thank you for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.
God bless all ... Carol (Thornton) Lohmayer
