Kia ora, Talofa lava, afio mai, सब ु ह अच्छा,pai ata, Kuja hapa, สวัสดี, 欢迎 and malo e lelei, Welcome to our Japanese student teachers who are studying early childhood education in New Zealand for the next three weeks. They will be visiting classrooms and studying during the day in Rooms 1 and 3. We always learn so much from having these groups in our school. Thank you to the families who are part of the host family network and embracing these new students into your homes. Tonight is our Meet the teacher night. We are all gathering a little earlier than usual to help those families who are attending Rangeview and Rutherford meet the teacher nights. This year we are inviting parents to mix and mingle together first and then go to the classrooms to learn about how the organisation for the year will run. Our classrooms are new and exciting this year and the day to day routines will be explained to you by the teachers. Our aim is to improve communication and part of this is to have as many opportunities to share our goals and vision for the year, as well as invite our parents to have their input to our learning journey. 2016 EVENTS Term 1 - 4 February—15 April 17 Feb Meet the Teacher BBQ 22 Feb BOT Meeting—6.30pm 26 Feb Mufti Day 1 Mar Cricket Field Day (SD 3 Mar) 17 Mar St Patricks Day—Green Mufti 20 Mar Krypton Factor 22 Mar Athletics Field Day 24 Mar Athletics Day 24 Mar Easter Raffle drawn Margaret Samson Principal 25 Mar Easter—Good Friday REMEMBER OUR MEET THE TEACHERS EVENING TONIGHT Everyone is invited to the Meet the teacher evening– tonight — Wednesday 17th February.
