Step 2 Follow package directions for using hot knife. Carefully cut traced opening on pumpkin. Remove cut piece and discard. Step 3 1/2 www.acmoore.com Paint the interior of the pumpkin with Lavender Fields paint. Note: the inside of the pumpkin is very shiny and may need extra coats. Paint with long handle brush, starting at the back of the pumpkin first (this is avoid painting your arm). Paint entire interior and cut edge of pumpkin. Let dry. Repeat as needed. Step 4 Paint outside of pumpkin Chartreuse. Let dry. Repeat with an additional 1-2 more coats. Step 5 Once completely dry - download, print and cut out letter templates and trace onto pumpkin. Fill in letters with Black paint marker. When dry, outline with White paint pen and add dots as shown. Step 6 For candy corn, remove foam piece from brush handle. Trim sides to create a triangle. This will become your “stamp”. Squeeze Cotton Ball paint onto palette or paper plate. Tap triangle “stamp” into paint; tap off excess on plate and stamp randomly on outside of pumpkin. Note: this does not have to be exact, as this will provide you with your basic shape that you will then color in with other paint markers. Let dry. Step 7 Use paint daubers as with triangle stamp to create lollipop and wrapped candy shapes randomly around pumpkin, using the different sizes of circles and paint colors. Let dry. Step 8 When completely dry, color in candy corn by creating layers of Orange and Yellow with paint marker. Step 9 For lollipops, use White paint marker to add a swirl and to draw lollipop stick. Step 10 For wrapped candies, add a swirl with chosen color of paint marker. Step 11 When done painting in all the candy, outline all shapes with Black paint marker. For wrapped candy, create the look of the cellophane around the candy by drawing lines. Refer to photo for reference. Step 12 To fill in empty spaces, draw swirls and paint dots randomly around pumpkin. Tip: use end of foam brush as tapped in paint to make the dots evenly sized. Step 13 Note: insides of the pumpkins are different. Cut two pieces of craft foam and glue together as a base for the inside of the pumpkin. This will allow the candy to evenly sit in the pumpkin and allow it to look like it is coming out of its mouth. Step 14 Fill with candy! 2/2 Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
