Sir/Madam,
DAV CMC is committed to instil a sense of oneness, camaraderie and a common identity among
the students of our schools. For meeting this objective, it has been decided to introduce a
common uniform in DAV Public/Model Schools.
The fabric approved for the dresses has been enclosed with shade number and other necessary
details viz. sample of cloth, name of mill alongwith step wise details of mode of stitching the
dresses are enclosed herewith for your reference and necessary action.
After deliberating in detail the feedback received from various DAV Public/Model Schools on this
subject, the following guidelines have also been formulated for seamless introduction of a
common uniform in DAV Public Schools:
(a)
The Jacket of Salwar Kameez suit has to be stitched only on the sides and not at the back.
The jacket should only be on the front side stitched at the sides of shirt.
(b)
The Blazer has to be fixed with the fawn colour dori, instead of piping. The dori should be
matching with the trouser. No dori has to be fixed on the pocket of the blazer.
(c)
The Blazer should have patch pocket.
(d)
The Brass Batch fixing on the bow tie should be made of smooth casted metal and the DAV
logo has to be printed on that.
(e)
Tracksuit for the kindergarten students should be made with the hood.
