CARITAS: LENTEN APPEAL ENVELOPES
This Sunday is the 1st Sunday in Lent and the 2015 Caritas Lenten Appeal envelopes will be available in
the church foyer, together with some Lenten calendars. Please avail yourself of them. A Lenten discussion group will be held at a date to be announced. Caritas wishes to thank parishioners for the excellent
response to the 2014 Appeal. Parish Social Justice Committee
CARITAS LOVE IN ACTION: THE BISHOPS OF AOTEAROA NZ LENT APPEAL
LIGHT A FIRE IN THE HEART OF THE WORLD: One of the projects supported by our Lent donations to Caritas Aotearoa New Zealand was the Humanitarian projects in the Philippines after
typhoons caused havoc to peoples lives. Caritas was able to respond immediately because of the
generosity of people like yourselves. "E te Atua o te aroha God of love you provide a place of love
and comfort in times of vulnerability".
LENTEN REFLECTIONS will be held at STM every Thurs from 7.30pm to 8.45pm in church
complex. All welcome.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS Will be held at STM every Friday during Lent, starting at
5.30pm.
