OptiPower Projects (Pty) Ltd was initiated and registered in 2001 by the current CEO Andre Swart.
OptiPower also achieved the “Transmission” and “Distribution” Black Economic Empowerment Status on Eskom’s vendor list.
(Eskom Megawatt Park) as a SMME, Vendor No: 11045781, and also achieved the Approval on the Western Cape Supplier
Database, incorporating the City of Cape Town and Western Cape Provincial Government, Registration No: OPTI004TRW,
As well as eThekwini (Durban) and many various other municipalities.
The aspiration and drive to provide a Quality turn-key solution to all aspects within the High, Medium and Low voltage Powerline,
Substation and Fibre Optic networks industry, is a commitment enforced by OptiPower’s top management.
The company is committed to uplifting previously disadvantaged communities and firmly believes in the continuous training of its
whole workforce, hence investing generously by embracing the South African Governments SD&L initiatives. All the permanent Site
Personnel are trained in many statutory requirements such as Eskom’s ORHVS, Occupational Health and Safety certification to
enable them to work to the Safety Standards that empowers the individuals as authorized persons on Substations, Overhead
Powerlines and Fibre Optics.
Optipower also have its own in-house Engineering department that offers Assistance in design and specialized construction
solutions to its customers.
