Dear Safmarine Customer,
The Quebec Ministry of Transportation has released the 2015 spring thaw period and zones. Please click here to visit the
Ministry’s website for full details. These restrictions are imposed every year for heavy vehicle users and shippers.
The maximum cargo weight carried during the thaw period is as follows:

20’ dry: 48,000 lbs maximum cargo weight
40’ dry/hdry: 50,000 lbs maximum cargo weight
45' hdry: 50,000 lbs maximum cargo weight
40' reefer: 48,000 lbs maximum cargo weight
