ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
IPEM made a modest beginning in the year 1996, with a few
Management and Computer Application Programmes.
Today the IPEM Group of Institutions are in the forefront of
imparting knowledge in the fields of Management,
Information Technology, Education and Law. The Master of
Business Administration (MBA), Master of Applied
Management (MAM) and Master of Computer Applications
(MCA - Lateral Entry) courses are approved by All India
Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Uttar
Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow.

PROLOGUE
T
he Emergence of Information and Communication Technology
(ICT) has changed the dynamic dimension of the new era. The
ever enhancing cooperation and coordination through ICT has
made the world a global village. Current status of technologies has
touched its zenith with new innovations penetrating walk of life.
In recent years, Cloud Computing, 4G LTE (Long-Term Evolution ) for
Wireless Communication of high-speed data transfer for Mobile
Phones and Data Terminals, SDN (Software Defined Environment ),
the next step in the evolution of Agile, optimized Information
Technology etc. are few of the many Next Generation Computing and
Communication Technology ‘Big Buzz Words’ that has emerged to the Information and Communication
Technology (ICT) Industry and Companies. We believe that developments in the fields of Next Generation
Information Technology directly influences development of Multidisciplinary and Hybrid/Convergent research.
The key innovative challenge in this domain is that how efficient requested Information/Knowledge & Computing
Power will be increasingly delivered as a service, over the Internet from the multiple locations of Shared Software
Applications and Computing Power. For the Communication Service Providers (CSPs) the biggest challenge is
improving and managing customer experience along with the tremendous expectation growth from the end user of
the technologies.
