SCHOOL OF HUMANITIES AND CREATIVE ARTS Bachelor of Creative Arts (Screen) Application Guidelines 2015 Candidates who wish to apply for the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Screen) must submit: • a portfolio submission form • a show-reel and/or portfolio • a statement and curriculum vitae • a completed cover sheet accompanying the portfolio, statement and curriculum vitae Candidates must also apply for entry to the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Screen) online through SATAC. The course code is 214571. Important Deadlines SATAC Application • Tuesday 30 September 2014 Portfolio, Portfolio Submission Form and Statement CRICOS No.: 00114A • Friday 28 November 2014 The Portfolio Submission Form and Cover Sheet The submission form and portfolio cover sheet are both available for download at: www.flinders.edu. au/courses/ undergrad/bcascreen-studies/ screen-studiesentry-requirements. cfm The Show-Reel and/ or Portfolio Applicants who wish to apply for the Screen program in the Bachelor of Creative Arts must submit examples of their original work. Items suitable for inclusion are listed on the submission form (available from the above link). inspiring achievement The Statement Candidates will also submit a Statement of not more than two pages (600 words) that explains their reasons for wanting to study for a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Screen). The Statement will indicate an applicant’s preparedness for this type of study. In this Statement, the applicant should answer the following questions: 1. Why do you wish to undertake Screen production at Flinders University? 2. Where would you like to work on completion of your training? The Statement should be inserted at the beginning of the Portfolio. It should also be typed and double- spaced. Curriculum Vitae Unsuccessful Applicants Applicants should also submit a curriculum vitae of no more than three pages in length, giving details of any publications, performance, work history, training or other experience they consider relevant to their application.
