WINDSTAR Foreign National Tax Resource (FNTR) – FAQ’s – Tax Year 2014

Tax Year 2014 FEDERAL tax return processing is now available on FNTR. Tax Year 2014
Massachusetts state processing will be enabled at a future date. Its availability will be announced on
the WINDSTAR website. Tax Year 2013 federal and Massachusetts state processing remain available.
Tax Year 2012 processing and saved data are no longer available. Please note: This release of Tax
Year 2014 federal tax return preparation does not allow for the selection of 1042-S Income Code 20,
"Gross Income - Other". If you received a Form 1042-S with Income Code 20 in box 1 for Tax Year
2014, you will not be able to enter that particular item of income in the software at this time. Once that
option has been added to the software, it will be announced here and you will be able to finalize your
tax return at that point. When the Massahusetts state tax forms are available on the WINDSTAR
website, you will be able to complete your state tax return.
