MESSAGE
During the past few weeks we often heard people say the phrase,
“Magandang buhay!” which means that the person wishes us a beautiful life.
So let me start by wishing each graduate of Batch 2015 a fulfilling and
meaningful life. You have the rest of your journey ahead of you and I am one of
those praying that God bless you immensely.
This year’s graduation theme, “Saktong Buhay: Sa Dekalidad na
Edukasyon Pinanday”, reminds us all that, indeed, education is the key to
unlocking a meaningful life. Each day that you come to school, you are being
prepared to be the best persons that you can be. All the skills, concepts, and knowledge that you gain are
the tools that you will need to prepare yourself. You may have come to school as part of a group, a class,
but your lives are all different from each other. We all have our own destiny, but God, being too generous
and all-knowing that He is, gave us the power to choose.
It is my hope then that you have learned to choose wisely for yourselves and though we
continuously pray that we have prepared you well for life, do not forget that living a decent life also means
that you are out there to help others. Zig Ziglar, a great American author once said that, “You can have
everything you want in life if you will just help other people get what they want.” After all, even if
you have reached the pinnacle of your dreams, if you are alone, it will all be worthless. So strive even
harder to reach your dreams for God will surely bless you as long as you do things the right way and be
a blessing to others!
Congratulations, graduates and parents! Let us all work together in reaching that “saktong
buhay”.
