Who Should Enroll Now:
All children expecting to attend kindergarten in the
2015-2016 school year. Kindergarten students must
be 5 years old on or before July 31, 2015 to enroll.
What to Bring With You
n Birth Certificate - If you do not have a birth certificate, ap-
plication forms will be given to you so you may obtain the
certificate prior to the time your child begins school. To
request a birth certificate, you may call (314) 615-1720
(county) or (314) 658-1134 (city).
n Social Security Number - Please bring your child’s Social
Security card. If your child does not have a number,
please contact the Social Security Office at 1-800772-1213 or www.socialsecurity.gov. Under federal law,
however, Pattonville will enroll your child even if he or she does not have a Social
Security number.
n Proof of Residency - Two documents are required to provide proof that you reside in Pattonville- 1) a mortgage statement or signed lease and 2) an unpaid utility bill or real estate tax bill. If you
reside with someone else, please contact the special services office at (314) 213-8090 to complete
residency verification forms.
n Immunization Record - Missouri law requires immunization of school children against polio,
diphtheria, rubella, measles, mumps, and other illnesses. Immunizations are available through
the St. Louis County Health Department (www.stlouisco.com/Healthandwellness) or your child’s doctor. All
students must meet immunization requirements before they may attend school.
School Starts: Classes for the 2015-2016 school year begin on Aug. 12, 2015.
NOTE: Early childhood students entering kindergarten still need to be registered.

Kindergarten screening is offered through the Parents As
Teachers office by calling (314) 213-8105 prior to April 24.

For Remington Traditional School
Enrollment for Remington Traditional School, a K-8 school
in Pattonville, is a lottery-based system. Parents should
enroll in their home school and also turn in an application
for the lottery at Remington by March 6. Applications are
available in Remington’s school office or on the Remington
website at remington.psdr3.org. The lottery will take place
on April 7, 2015. For more information, call Remington’s

Parkwood families, please bring your incoming kindergarten student to registration with you.
