REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB) – MAINTENANCE OF JET-A1
FUEL HYDRANT SYSTEM
BID REFERENCE NUMBER: ORT 482/2015
COLLECTION OF BID DOCUMENTS
Documents will be available for collection upon payment of
a non-refundable cash deposit of R2,000.00, between 09:00
and 14:00, weekdays only from 6 March 2015 until 20 March
2015. Bid documents may be collected from Messrs Rajesh
Jewan/Maila Mabala, Finance Department, 4th Floor, ACSA
North Wing Offices, O R Tambo International Airport.
COMPULSORY CLARIFICATION SESSION
A compulsory clarification session will be held at 12:30, on
Wednesday, 11 March 2015 at the Kudu Boardroom, 3rd
Floor, ACSA North Wing Offices, O R Tambo International
Airport.
CLOSING DATE
The Bid closes on Wednesday, 1 April 2015 at 12:00.
All bid documentation (in duplicate) must be sealed in a
clearly marked envelope and placed in the Bid box situated
at ACSA Administration Building, North Wing Offices,
Reception, 4th Floor, O R Tambo International Airport.

LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. ACSA
reserves the right to withdraw, cancel or not award any
bid issued.
MANDATORY ADMINISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Bids that do not meet any one of the following criteria (valid
proof/certification must be provided) will be disqualified and
will not be evaluated further:

Attendance of compulsory clarification session
No letter of Non Performance in the form of Non-
conformance against the Bidder is in effect
Only Bidders with a CIDB Contractor Grading of 7ME or higher are allowed to bid
An original and valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate
Acceptance of All Terms and Conditions of the Bid.
NB: No Bid will be awarded to any person whose tax
matters have not been declared in order by South African
Revenue Service.
EVALUATION
Complete bids will be evaluated in two phases.
Phase one - Functionality
Resource Proposal - 40 points
Maintenance Programme - 30 points
References and Experience - 30 points
Only bidders scoring a minimum of 60 points out of 100
for functionality will be considered for further evaluation on
Price and B-BBEE.
Phase two – Price and B-BBEE
This Bid will be scored using the 90:10 preferential points
system with 90 reflecting Price and 10 reflecting B-BBEE
recognition. In order to qualify for B-BBEE recognition,
ACSA will only accept B-BBEE certificates from SANAS
accredited verification agencies and IRBA as proof of
B-BBEE status.
