Entries close Monday 16th March. Late entries $30, numbers dependent.

Craters of the Moon MTB carpark: Main Entrance of the mountain bike tracks.
Top Gear Cycles, Suncourt Plaza. 12 noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday, 21 March, or on event day at Craters of the
Moon. 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Sunday, 22 March 2015.
10:00 AM. All competitors must attend the race briefing.
Parents/caregivers are responsible for making sure their child attends and listens to the Race Briefing.
10:15 AM. All races should be finished by 2:00pm.
Ages (age on the day): 5 yrs, 6 yrs, 7 yrs, 8 yrs, 9 yrs, 10 yrs, 11 yrs, 12 yrs. Open Elite race. Novice and
Intermediate fun rides.
Competitors need a suitable bike for off road riding, correctly sized helmet and closed shoes. Parents/caregivers
need to check that all bikes are in safe working order. Free safety checks are available from Top Gear Cycles.
Bikes with trainer wheels are not allowed.
Competitors should be dressed appropriately for the weather.
Participants can bring their bike & helmet into Top Gear Cycles during the month of March for a free safety
check.
Parents/caregivers are responsible for their children and transport of their bikes during the event. Children not
competing must be supervised at all times.
The tracks will be marked and unused tracks will be taped off.
Tail end riders will follow behind each race in case of accidents.
Children must be confident in riding a mountain bike on dirt trails. 5 and 6 year old and novice fun ride is approx
3km, easy grade, tracks are longer for older age groups, increasing to moderate difficulty. Elite riders must be
experienced mountain bikers.
There will be a sausage sizzle and drinks for sale on-site.
Port-a-loos will be provided on-site.
Whilst every effort is made by the organisers to provide timely, accurate results, this is primarily a fun event to get
children enjoying mountain biking. Therefore the decisions of the organisers are final, and no protests will be
entered into.

or participating in the Contact Great Lake Monster Mountain Bike Challenge. It is the sole responsibility of all riders and Guardians to receive
and act in accordance with appropriate medical advice relating to any injury or medical condition, which may in any way compromise a rider’s
personal health or safety, or that of other riders. Participants agree to follow all directions and instructions of race officials and failure to comply with said instructions or decisions may result in disqualification from the race. The decisions of the organisers and officials are final, and no
protests will be entered into. Participation in this event is conditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. We accept these terms and conditions and other conditions of entry.
