We are thrilled to introduce Rabbi Rosen to Adath Israel. We welcome all Congregants to partake in one or
more events of the jam-packed weekend.
Schedule as follows:
Friday, March 13
 Minyan and Breakfast, 7:30-8:45 AM
 Meet and Greet with ECLC, 8:45-9:15 AM
 ECLC Shabbat Service, 10:30-11:00 AM
 Carlebach Shabbat Service, 6:00 PM. The service is free and followed by a catered Chinese dinner
with a presentation by Cantor Lowe on “The Jews of China.” Price for dinner: $18/adult, $10/ages
4-11, free under 3. RSVP online in our members-only section of the AI website or call the Main
Office at 610.934.1919 by Tuesday 3/10.
Saturday, March 14
 Shabbat Service and Kiddush, 9:15 AM-1:00 PM. Rabbi Rosen’s visit will include participating at
Parenting the Parsha, visiting Makom Classes, being a part of the Main Service, and enjoying the
Kiddush.
 Mincha Service, 5:00-5:45 PM
Sunday, March 15
 Minyan, 9:00-9:40 AM
 Schmooze & Shmear- bagels, coffee and Q&A, 10:00-11:00 AM
 Makom Visit, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM
Rabbi Rosen is the third and final candidate for the Second Rabbi position to visit Adath Israel. As with the
other two candidates, we encourage congregants to join us at AI, meet Rabbi Rosen and fill out the
Congregational Survey. Your input is an important part of this decision process.

Rabbi Ariella Rosen
Rabbi Ariella Rosen is a graduating Rabbinical student from the Jewish
Theological Seminary. She grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut, and
currently calls Brooklyn, New York, home. She completed her
undergraduate studies at List College, earning degrees in Midrash and
Psychology from the Jewish Theological Seminary and Columbia
University, respectively. In addition to her coursework, Ariella is
grateful to have had the opportunity to train in a variety of Rabbinic
capacities, including the Pulpit, Hillel, Camp Ramah, and Chaplaincy.
She has worked in several formal and informal educational settings with
learners of all ages and backgrounds, and has a passion for Special
Education as well. She loves to learn, and is continuing her study of
Midrash with an MA in that field. Ariella plays ultimate frisbee, loves
farmers’ markets, and is beyond thrilled to be spending what promises
to be a special Shabbat with the Adath Israel community.
